1st Review - Odyssey Mandarin Sky Elixir

Just wanted to share my thoughts as a novice fragrance appreciator.

This opens with a very nice mandarin citrus accord — bright, fresh, and uplifting. In Singapore’s hot and humid weather, this works really well. It creates a refreshing bubble around you, especially when walking in and out of shopping centres from the heat into aircon. It’s smooth, pleasant, and most importantly, not overpowering.

Best part — my wife complimented me almost immediately. She said she really liked it, so that alone makes it worth it for me.

Performance-wise, I applied around 11am, and by about 2pm it became more of a soft woody-amber skin scent. Still pleasant, but subtle. Because of that, I keep the bottle in my car for a quick top-up, and it brings back that fresh citrus-amber lift nicely. It’s a great scent for casual weekends and running errands.

Also quite fitting since Chinese New Year is coming. Mandarin oranges symbolize prosperity and gold in Chinese culture, so wearing a mandarin-forward fragrance during this period feels extra appropriate.

At only $27 USD here in Singapore, this is honestly very good value. You get a clean, refreshing, easy-to-wear scent that works perfectly in hot climates.

Not beast mode, not loud, but very pleasant, safe, and confidence-boosting.

Definitely a good pickup, especially at this price.
