I got to speak with Rena Bauman (a colleague trained in the same therapeautic neuroscience-based post trauma growth training as myself, and who is faculty with them) about the Heroine's Journey last week, and it was a deep and rich field of sharing. Her questions and presence invited deeper answers in the call and response. This is what happens when speaking with another human who gets it in their own way--there's an opportunity for fuller energy to be felt around a subject. This is the powerful field of nervous system coherence and deepening aliveness, deepening acceptance, deeper karmic unwinding and a more transparent essence. I sat down and made this little video last week in an attempt to interpret the somatic alchemy work of metamorphosis through a more mystical/pranic lens, for those who prefer that to the neuroscience explanation. Last week I uncovered the root of a karmic knot in my gut, which took a massive amount of quieting the "static," and have already begun to see its ripple effect in the 3D world from having attended on the subtle level to the transmutation process needed. There’s a special gift that comes with sharing your story over and over, for different people and different audiences. You can get better at telling it simpler while still impacting deeply, and you also get to appreciate what the story becomes as it lands in someone else’s heart. Sharing for Kimberly and her ROAR audience (which offers short video messages to inspire children and families in hospitals) was very sweet, and brought me back to the sacredness of the chrysalis, that place that feels dark and confining but saturated with the magic to become fully undone and remade. Reparenting myself through the agony of degenerative autoimmune disease was a powerful initiation that freed me in incredible ways, but while it was happening, it felt like HELL. It was SO uncomfortable, confusing, disorienting, and unpredictable. And also, SOOO lonely. Because nobody I knew knew anything about what was going on. Getting to share messages of hope and practical guidance for folks struggling with similar challenges is very special for me.
