Filter clogging: Natural vs Washed
How do you adjust your standard brew between Natural and Washed beans? I typically brew lighter roasted specialty beans. Washed coffees give me anything from 2min 50 to 3min 05, but change to an African Natural and the same grind will give you a stall where you end with a 4min brew. 1Zpresso ZP6 (40 clicks) 92°C V60 Ceramic Cafec T90 Light Roast filters

Monsoon Malabar...??
I just tried a sample of Monsoon malabar coffee as a V-60 pour-over. It was very nutty but that very recognisable flavour was very prominent... who knows that I mean? do you like it?
Do you make your own blends?
Every now and then I’ll mix a few beans together (the ends of the bag) to make a blend as a chemex or filter brew. I’ve learnt a few things about blending this way. Do you do this?
Misty Beans-- why?
I've noticed some people spraying water on coffee beans before grinding—what's the purpose of this, and doesn't it make the grounds clump together?
Have you ever done this?…
If you have you know just how hard it is, and you’ll enjoy your coffee so much more… let me know what you think 💭
