TAKING ACTION:
✅ Share with us below—do your thoughts often get the best of you? Do you find yourself self-sabotaging simply due to your thoughts about what you can or can’t do?
If you’ve been showing up for yourself the last couple of weeks, you know we’ve been discussing the idea of capacity—and how to honor it, but potentially also expand it during the holidays. I can’t tell you whether or not you’re in a place for expansion (capacity building), but I know one thing to be certain ⬇️
If you think you can’t, you’ll be right.
Per the article attached, “Our thoughts lead to our perceptions, behaviors, actions, interactions, and choices.” Humans aren’t only wired to hold one thought at a time, but we’re wired to focus on the negative. This is why we often self-sabotage—simply by our thoughts alone! 💯
The good news is that you can change your thoughts, but it takes practice and intentionality. Just as our negative thoughts precede giving up or failure, it also works the other way around—if you think you can, your chances of success improve! 🚀
You are your thoughts, friends. This is almost completely true. Think you don’t have the capacity or discipline for success during the holidays? You won’t. Think you do? You will.
If time permits, I encourage you to check out this great article below on the power of our thoughts! 🧠
