HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY, friends! ❤️
February is known as the month of love. We celebrate Valentine’s Day, National Make a Friend Day, and even Random Acts of Kindness Day. It seems as though February was intentionally set aside for us to show and express love to others! My question for you today is - do you love yourself as much as you love others?
We’re conditioned our entire lives to serve others and neglect our own needs. This isn’t always verbally taught to us, yet we all subconsciously begin to believe it’s the right thing to do. If we didn’t believe that, we wouldn’t reach middle age and ask ourselves, “Who am I? What do I enjoy? Where did this extra 20 lbs. come from?” If you’ve ever asked yourself similar questions, you, my friend, haven’t shown yourself love for far too long - and today is the day that needs to change!
When you’re focusing on your health and wellness, you aren’t acting selfishly—quite the opposite. Self-improvement improvement is self-love. I want you to stop and ask yourself, “What would my life look like if I loved myself as passionately as I love others?”
This brings me to another point – finding ways to love yourself counts as a weekly win! 🎉Let’s change it up a little today and focus on finding one area where we can choose to love ourselves today!
TAKING ACTION:
  • With it being Valentine’s Day, let’s focus on self-love. What is one area you’re choosing to extend unconditional love to yourself or your body today?
