I usually start Oct 1 wearing my BCA shirts. I’ve done it for years. But I just couldn’t do it today knowing what I know now.
Breast cancer awareness has always been personal for me. My Grammaw Bessie beat breast cancer. (We never said the “d” in grandma, it was always grammaw 🤣)
My mother beat breast cancer. And I’ve had two precancerous spots removed myself. So I’ve always proudly worn my shirts and actively encouraged the women in my path to get their mammograms.
I need a new pink shirt that’s says eat whole foods, balance your hormones, move your body, drink water, manage your stress, remove the toxins…all the things. 🩷
