When NOT to take on a client?
I’ve seen some people (not here) take on clients at a pretty high price. And they say what they’re delivering is something they’ve never exactly done before, or that they don’t know how to deliver some parts of the project. But they’re confident in charging and receiving the deposit from the client, and say they’ll figure it out.
I’m a bit confused about that. When is it right to know when and when not to take a client? I know this answer is clear: It’s when you know you can deliver or not, but what about those parts you know you can probably handle but have never actually done?
I’m declining some requests because of this and feel it’s wrong somehow.
