When NOT to take on a client?
I’ve seen some people (not here) take on clients at a pretty high price. And they say what they’re delivering is something they’ve never exactly done before, or that they don’t know how to deliver some parts of the project. But they’re confident in charging and receiving the deposit from the client, and say they’ll figure it out. I’m a bit confused about that. When is it right to know when and when not to take a client? I know this answer is clear: It’s when you know you can deliver or not, but what about those parts you know you can probably handle but have never actually done? I’m declining some requests because of this and feel it’s wrong somehow.
Big Moves, Bigger AI
What does $500 billion in AI mean for the future of automation? The Stargate project, announced on Jan 21, 2025, is pouring massive investments into next-gen AI data centers (thanks to OpenAI, SoftBank, and others). For us no-code and automation fans, this means faster, smarter AI tools that can handle even more complex workflows. Could this be a game changer?

This is is insane. And kinda scary. Who knows what type of tech they'll pull out now.
How do you handle ‘consultation’ calls?
When I work with clients they usually already have something very specific in mind, so I just make it. But I was just talking with a lead and they don’t have a specific request… they want to get on a call to talk about how they can use AI and automations for their business, and in the meantime they’ve been sending me cool tools and stuff they see. So I wanna get to the root of it but am not gonna lie - my brain is all over the place because I’ve never done something like this before, and they’re an influencer recruitment agency (a niche I’ve never worked with before, so there’s that) How do you usually go about this? How do you structure the call? What type of questions do you ask? How do you get to know more about their business? Has anyone worked with a similar niche? I’d appreciate any help 🙏
