Hey Everyone! Hope you're having a great week so far. Just wanted to share some news with you - I received a PRS payment this morning, and it turns out that I had my first sync placements last year! PRS has only just caught up, but my music was used on BBC Parliament as well as a couple of Romanian television channels. I've yet to find the actual placements (TuneSat is pulling nothing back at the moment), but I'll try to share them if I find them! As for the amount, it was by no means life-changing - but it was a very nice surprise this morning and covered the reasonably hefty car repair bill that I received yesterday! It's a start, and a real motivator to kick on and keep writing and releasing tracks across libraries of all different shapes and sizes. I'm also happy with the timings - the album launched last May (Q2 2025) and the placements came between July and September (Q3 2025). Obviously mileage varies, but it's nice to see that the tracks weren't sat idle for too long before they were used! Anyway, I hope this is a bit of reassurance for those of you releasing tracks and albums and waiting for the rewards to come back. Music admin is slow and takes time, so be patient and just keep writing! Hey everyone, Would i be right in that the Trailblazers 1 is a fuller course than what Alex started adding youtube a few months ago (the series called Free Trailer Music Course). Also, what is covered in part 2? Sorry if ive missed a post somewhere explaining this. Many thanks Jay
