Closing deals is about being consistent...
I wanted to take a moment to share a little motivation with all of you as we close one chapter and open another. This isn’t about flaunting or showing off—it’s about providing context and encouragement for what’s possible in this business when you stay consistent, focus on relationships, and trust the process. To give some perspective, I get most of my leads through organic traffic and networking—things anyone can do with time and effort. Whether it’s attending local meetups, small business expos, or just connecting with people in your community, these methods have proven incredibly effective for me. Here’s why I’m sharing this: yesterday, I closed a high 5-figure deal with a 4 figure MRR on a one-call close, which I finalized today with an MNDA (Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement) and an OSA (Other Service Agreement). It’s not just about the money—it’s about the journey, the effort, and the belief that opportunities like this are achievable when you commit to showing up and putting yourself out there. What’s most inspiring to me isn’t the deal itself, but the process it took to get here. This was the result of relationships I’ve built, systems I’ve put in place, and a mindset of perseverance. If I could share one piece of advice, it’s this: the seeds you plant today may not bear fruit immediately, but when they do, it’s worth the wait. If you’re feeling stuck or wondering if your efforts will pay off, I encourage you to keep going. Push through the doubts. Show up to that next event. Reach out to that new connection. You never know which conversation, handshake, or piece of content will lead to your next big opportunity. This deal is a reminder to me—and hopefully to you—that success doesn’t happen overnight, but it does happen when you stay consistent and authentic. You don’t have to have all the answers right now; you just have to keep moving forward. Here’s to starting the new year with intention, grit, and belief in what’s possible. Let’s make this one count! 💪
Any help with the data from ASSITABLE.AI
Yo Little Background I've been trying to introduce AI receptionist to my local area (Québec in Canada) since.. 3/4months(-4-5k too). I'm semi-proud of that but I started with no knowledge of platforms ( Vapi. Retell, GHL, N8N…) and nothing about laws, slowly losing my momentum. And I'm a 17-year-old, French, dealing with a completely different market than the USA. In Quebec there is the law 25 (strict about data privacy, you may call that GDPR), I'm trying to figure out how this applies when using a platform like this that records and stores call data. The law is Canada-wide too. So that would be crazy helpful to share how y'all are handling this law. Main fear As a user or integrator (here in Quebec for instance), am I legally covered by assistable’s privacy framework? Or I need to get the explicit consent of the caller/ client before storing or reviewing these recordings? That would be insane if anyone could share the their experience or best practices with it🔥💪🤝
