The TOP 3 things I learnt from taking 3 weeks off and travelling around Italy 💥 ✈️ 🌎
✅ Sometimes it pays to slow down, when our heads are in ‘work mode’ they seem to have a habit of going around in circles – taking yourself ‘out’ & giving yourself down-time sparks new ideas and creates motivation. We often mistake ‘time out’ as wasted, however it is often quite the opposite 🤔
✅ People have similar problems no matter how sunny their surroundings look. It’s easy to think the ‘grass is always greener’. I’m sure you’ve looked at house prices when abroad and dreamed of escaping wet England, however you will still face challenges wherever you are, you will not escape problems for an ‘easy life’. It’s all about picking which challenges you wish to face and creating a balanced happy life – learn to enjoy the present ⚖️
✅ A healthy lifestyle fuels a healthy mind – the Italians have it right by focusing on local, fresh ingredients (their climate really helps with this!), but you can still achieve this at home. I already paid strong attention to what I ate, however I’m now even more focused. Your energy, immune system and efficiency all relies on what you put in your body 💪
Now back to trying to keep a positive outlook in wet, windy England 😂
