Hi lovelies, inspired by our group sessions this week, we have been reminded of how fundamental the 3x3 'reclaim your attention' activity is. (Especially as the world goes more mad!) There are a few who have committed to a 9 day challenge - 3x3 for 9 days in a row. Who would like to join? Current and past Treasures' are welcome 🤗 You could be in bed and start movement there, then find your stillness, and then roll over and write for the last. Note: the order is up to you. The original directions were 1.write, 2. move, 3. still. But it is clear there are other orders that work also. See how you go and please share what order you are working with. Much love as always 🌹
No perfumes in my clinic space please
Hello lovelies, I'm finding my sensitivity to fragrances, perfumes and toxic products is increasing over time. This is excellent as it keeps me safe but it's inconvenient when it affects me to be around it. So, please don't wear perfumes or fragrances when you come to my space. Essential oils are very welcome when, of course they're essential and not a fragrance 😉 They'll be a module in our next month's Treasures that will bring our attention to ingredient lists in food and products. Especially those that we wear or apply topically. You are probably aware of oestrogen mimicking chemicals and endocrine disruptors that are being found everywhere. Declutter to make space
I realised this late afternoon that working with Anny has decluttered quite a bit of my mind (and heart). Without decluttering, I think I couldn’t accept more or new things into my life. I still think of 100x things at a time, common for many women and moms, but I noticed I wasn’t trying to make 100x decisions (it feels like my back, sides, frontal parts of brain all operating for different matters) at same time while listening to something/someone or driving car. Hopefully life now will attract more positive things going forward. I still need to work on how to maintain this mind decluttering effort… Do you have any good tricks to this that you can share please?
Another group session inspiration
Inspired by our group session last night. The stress and emotions are high right now. There are a few things to consider. - It's spring. Energy is rising and if we've been 'sitting on things' it's easy to erupt. - Many of us have less resilience with our hormones shifting. This is no small situation, especially when so much has dysregulated our nervous system and hormones for decades! (The Pill, neurotoxins, estrogen-mimicking compounds, our own family patterns, current relationships at home, social and work). - Decades of holding it all together. YES, even though you once had capacity to push through and go that extra 1,000 miles - it does take a toll. - And this isn't talking about your individual symptoms or details - this is a collective situation. Much to consider in the relationship between our underworld and outer world. In conclusion, when you are feeling emotional - is NOT the time to try to work it out! Once upon a time maybe, but these days, time to give yourself some credit. You are not 'just being ______ get over it" (whatever is your go to). I'll share when I feel like this and my own frustrations say "Oh Anny, you've done so much of this, you should have it together by now, what's wrong with you?" That's my red flag, this is serious! Inevitably I'll lay on the floor and in seconds I'm in tears. The thoughts are so many - nothing to work out here - the storm is up. Let it rain. Sometimes it's just a few minutes and it begins to clear - with a few kind easy words to myself and I could return to the task. Other times I really need time. If I literally cannot take the time I tell myself this is not over, I'll be back. And keep my own promise to return to this space when I can. If your internal fight continues, so will the pain. I know, I can assure you I am not immune to this. The feeling is one thing but, the way you treat yourself, your self-talk is more of the issue. It's not what, but how we deal. This is you we're talking about. The Golden Egg 🌹
Learning how to fly
I thought I'll share that my brain finally clicked on why and how to use the techniques Anny has taken me through the course, to get myself off any emotional/energy edges. The process of identifying where I felt the emotions, the breathing, the body movement. I have been a lil anxious lately but have managed to apply the techniques taught yesterday! Funny how it took me a while to understand these, and it was when I have to "fly/swim alone" for a bit. I guess it's the same as laying a good life habit/foundation for our kids, hoping one day they will use the tools/teaching given. Thanks Anny.
