This is some info from my book that I wanted to share on this topic.
Burns and Scalds
- Blistering Burns (First and Second Degree): Cantharis
- Burns with Intense Itching (e.g., Sunburn or Hot Liquid/Steam Burns): Urtica urens
- Red, Hot Burns (Worse in the Evening): Belladonna
- Burns with Nerve Damage (e.g., Electrical Burns or Sharp, Shooting Pain): Hypericum
Here are some additions:
- Causticum – For deep burns, including old burn scars that cause pain or contractures.
- Arnica – If there's shock or trauma associated with the burn.
- Calendula – For promoting healing and preventing infection in open burns.
Note for Calendula, you can use this topically as a salve, ointment or diluted tincture while taking the homeopathic Calendula 30 for healing.
Always seek medical treatment if burns are severe.
