When to start a new series
I know this varies for those who can rapid-release or multitask, but I realistically produce one book every 4–6 weeks.
For those writing continuous series, how many books do you bank before letting yourself start something brand new? I’m currently on Book 3 of a planned 6-book run (interconnected standalones), but I’m getting squirrelly about a new idea.
I’d love to hear how you handle this. Specifically if jumping between series worked for you or if it killed your momentum.
