I'm building a weekly animated Instagram series (60 sec or less) for my real estate education brand. Each video has 1 to 3 cartoon characters (2D style, people of color) who talk to each other and teach a quick investing lesson. What I need: - The same characters in every video (same face, outfit, props) - Real lip sync to a voiceover (ElevenLabs) - Multiple characters in one scene - Natural movement, not stiff puppet arms - About 16 videos a month What I'm using now: - Gemini for character art and backgrounds - Code-based animation for wide shots, captions, and pop-ups - Hedra for talking close-ups - Veo for a few action shots It works, but the wide shots still look a little stiff. Full AI video on every shot looks great but runs $100 to $500 a month at my volume. I'm aiming to stay around $50 a month. What tools or workflows are you using to get near-cinema quality animated characters without breaking the bank? Has anyone tried Freepik's unlimited plan, Kling, Hailuo, or something else for this? Appreciate any tips!
