Day 3 — Until my first paying client as an AI consultant
Yesterday I did my usual two daily chunks: promotion/marketing and system building. Trying to keep this rhythm consistent no matter what. I also spent time working on something deeper: my vision. I’m starting to realize that if you don’t have a crystal-clear objective, the universe simply can’t guide you. You don’t see the signs, you don’t recognize the opportunities, and you don’t know what path to follow. A clear vision makes everything else easier to filter. So that’s where I’m putting more attention: knowing exactly what I want, why I want it, and what I’m building toward. Question of the day: What are your personal goals with your AI business? What are you working toward? I appreciate everyone following this journey, and I’m grateful for your insights and experiences.
When automation makes things worse
A lot of AI automation fails not because the tech is bad, but because the wrong process gets automated. If a process is unclear or constantly changing, automation doesn’t fix it, it just speeds up the mess. I now ask myself one thing before automating: would this still be a problem if it ran instantly? If yes, it’s probably a process issue, not an automation one. How do you decide what’s worth automating?
