I know it's been 4 days. But pinky promise, I worked my a** off.
Day 35 : Sunday is supposed to be my fullfilment day (20% rule of doing the service and 80% calls).
But on thay day I actually had 2 sales calls.
Out of these 2, 1 has started the free trial. So that's my third free trial starting and I still have 2 (at that moment haha)
Day 36 : Monday - Sales day, 7 discovery calls. Apart from the no show before my 9 to 5, most of them showed up. I now call them, text them the link, and I do everything to make sure they come. I hate no shows.
Still... 3 no shows and 1 answered but had an unfortunate even (loss of someone) so I didn't push.
For the 3 remaining ones, good discussions and 1 is not a fit, 2 said they'd do the onboarding for the free trial.
Day 37 : 2 calls at 6 and 7pm. Both onboardings from last week. One didn't answer since morning and didn't show up. Second one wanted to have it earlier, so I did it at 6.05. We finished around 8pm.
BIG Potential client. 3 sub companies aiming B2C, B2B and another B2B sector so potentially 3 accounts for the same guy.
He wants a long term relationship and has never worked with someone like me, he liked the contact and basically said that I was not asking for much compared to the quality of the promise (14days free, guarantee on results before getting paid a penny).
We see each other on day 38 for 10 mins to just load the money on the Ad account.
Day 38 : He is 2 days off (day 38 and 39) with his family which is rare so I told him we'd meet for 10 mins to put money in the Ad account and then he can go back to his beloved ones...
Lol he didn't show up. I called him multiple times during the day and then he answered and told me sorry I'm in a meeting I'll call you just after, and ofc he didn't.
Not a problem. I'll let him be for the 2 days of holidays and will call him back on day 40. I still feel he wants to work with me.
In the evening after my 9to5 I had 3 calls one of which is a deep discovery call (big company as well, B2B on 2 sectors).
One showed up but doesn't have the infrastructure to call the leads, but I scheduled a second call with him in 2 weeks to see if he can come up with it as he's leading already a big team and he's confident he can come with an answer.
Big deep discovery call went well. The guy is super eager to start, we had 2 hours of deep talk to define his ideal avatar, ROI, budget, expectations etc. I'm learning from my mistakes slowly.
I guided the call for 1h and when he was sold I let him ask the final questions that were still making him unsure so that he went from 60% sure to 100% all in to start. He's off for 9 days so I'm preparing some gooooood value for him on that day (I already teased him and will send him some messages in the meantime so that he doesn't lose interest and see the value).
It's a new aspect I usually don't work with such big projects (B2B) and I usually get leads for B2C. So I was super transparent that I couldn't give figures and numbers on CPL etc.
But we did the maths, and came up with budget, avatar, structure (he is an engineer as well so I kinda understood what he was looking for to feel reassured and add logic to his feelings based decision).
Day 39 : TODAY.
Had a long day at work but could connect to 's weekly. Props to everyone that joined and is still reading this lol.

I listened to Aaron's advice and what was said to other people in the call, called by my second free trial that just "chickened out" and .... GOT HIM BACK !!!!!!!!!!
I set up clear expectations, showed him the numbers, added a guarantee, and told him to not focus on the payment due in 7 days but rather to focus on the win for him. The win is defined at 10 leads in his pipeline and at least 1 signed. Then he feels confident in continuing after the trial.

I added the guarantee that if he doesn't arrive at 10 leads I'll do that for free until he gets there (and I pushed to see if for example he needed to add an extra 100 he would be OK and he said definitely).
So now the aim is 7 leads with the remaining 380. I can make that work. And he doesn't even know that during the next call in 2 days he will get an additional bonus of me paying for his ads at the end of the trial by the way, that's a surprise I will only emphasize on the day of the meeting.
