This isn’t about restriction. It’s about freedom. For the next 30 days we’re proving that our discipline belongs to our purpose, not our poison. For 30 days we cut out: 🚫 Sugar 🚫 Liquor 🚫 Weed 🚫 Nicotine 🚫 Porn 🚫caffeine 🚫video games 🚫gambling 🚫gluten 🚫 Instant dopamine (mindless scrolling, junk food, cheap escapes) And for 30 days we lock in: šŸ’§ Hydration šŸ‹šŸ½ Movement 🌱 Clean eating 😓 Solid sleep šŸ“– Reflection & journaling 🐬 Foundations that keep us consistent 🧠 Science says dopamine pathways for sugar, nicotine, alcohol, and screens light up just like hard drugs. That means most of us have already been disciplined… just in the wrong direction. The Challenge is about flipping that same loyalty toward our growth. ⚔ This is where confidence is built. This is where clarity comes back. Well, I’m almost done with the first day of salt and pepper food no coffee just water and I wanna cry šŸ˜‚ but I feel good so can’t wait till the end of this to see my progress šŸ’ŖšŸ½

šŸ’„ ā€œThis Challenge is too strict… too militant… too much discipline.ā€ - victimhood & addicts 🐬 The truth is, we’ve already been strict. We’ve already been disciplined. We’ve already been militant.. just in the wrong direction. Think about it: šŸ¬ Strict with sugar : sweetness in the morning, desserts at night. šŸŗ Disciplined with liquor : weekend drinks never skipped. 🌿 Loyal to weed : premeal & bedtime ritual, like it’s scripture. šŸ“± Militant with screens : scroll after scroll, like it’s a second job. 🚬 Nicotine on cue : stress hits, and so does the lighter or vape. ā˜• Caffeine clockwork : not a day missed sometimes twice. āš ļø The problem isn’t that we can’t commit, it’s that we’ve been committed to our cravings. 🧠 Science proves it: sugar, nicotine, alcohol, and screens activate dopamine pathways the same way hard drugs do. That means we’ve already been living with militant discipline but toward habits that drain our energy, gut health, and focus. šŸ”„ The Choose Yourself Challenge (Sept 15th) isn’t strict. It’s a reset. It’s proof that the same loyalty we’ve been giving to our vices can be flipped into discipline for our purpose. And let’s be real …addiction loves to dress itself in logic: 🚬 ā€œNicotine helps me focus.ā€ ā˜• ā€œCoffee helps me digest.ā€ 🌿 ā€œWeed helps me sleep.ā€ šŸÆ ā€œHoney is natural, so it’s good for me.ā€ Sounds reasonable… but the science doesn’t lie: 🚬 Nicotine spikes cortisol and damages blood vessels. ā˜• Excess coffee wrecks our sleep cycles and depletes magnesium. 🌿 Weed blocks REM sleep — the deepest restoration our brain needs. šŸÆ Honey spikes blood sugar almost instantly, just like table sugar. We don’t deny these things do something.. we deny that they’re necessary for peace, purpose, or performance. Out bodies, our minds, and our spirits are designed to function better without them. 🐬 Starting Sept 15th: 30 days. No vices! The real question isn’t ā€œCan we commit?ā€ The question is: ā€œWhat are we already committed to and is it building us or breaking us?ā€

Well, I got a good accountability partner. He spent 20 years in the army. He is very well disciplined. He’s perfect for holding me accountable still haven’t stopped smoking weed or or my energy drinks but I haven’t bought any. I’m just finishing up what I have. Screen Time still working on that I know it don’t start till the 15th, but I’m trying to slow down. šŸ’ŖšŸ½šŸ¬

When we reset what we consume, we reset how we connect. šŸ’„ Most of us don’t need another quick fix. We need to relearn how to sleep without substances, socialize without a buzz, and create energy without a crutch. ⚔ Resetting dopamine = resetting discipline. Resetting food = resetting freedom.
