Council Tax- interview under caution
I'm a single parent and have always paid council tax (feel like i don't want to anymore after this) my neighbour likes to report me and try get me into trouble all the time. So I've received a letter from a stranger that looks like they work for a private company called veritau. They want to investigate the single person discount. I have been single for 11 years and never dated either. However i do sometimes have friends stay over. They want to interview me under caution. I've got my power of attorney to email them and say they are acting for me but the real registration with OPG can take months. My LPA has asked for a SAR. The stranger from veritau wants to know why I'm vulnerable and if I'm attending the interview under caution on Friday, despite my LPA declining the interview. Do i continue with the next letter under SAR? I don't want to share why I'm vulnerable and disclose medical records. Can my LPA act for me before formal registration? She thinks she is the police and wants to interview under caution

@Susannah Montpellier Passed 11 months I've been dealing with Edinburgh Council, and like any council they are never in a hurry. What keeps me positive is when we have nothing to hide, we have nothing to prove, and its them that have to prove other wise. stay positive Susannah.
Summons? Visit to Weymouth Magistrates Court
So I'd decided to actually go to the council Tax court summons. Just came out. I'd sent the case file (bundle) to both the courts and dorset council (see attached) last week (recorded/signed for). Dimebar was super helpful in getting these documents together. The hearing was at 9am so got there early and spoke with the council 'rep' who was a 'jobsworth' kind of fella. Helpful but limited understanding of legal/law stuff. I was suited up and maybe thats the reason that i was not stopped or requested to talk to anyone, let alone settle the alleged charge. The council guy said these days are once a month on friday's and todays 'list' was 1,400. I did ask how the magistrate or council could give these 'consideration' and he laughed and said they can't 'its all done by batch' approval. So Dave and me (the other guy who showed up) waited to see the magistrate and eventually we were shown in to the tiered room with about 10 people sat at 3 levels. We were asked to stand and i said I'd rather not. I was asked if i was [fiction] and i said i was the authorised representative for [fiction] estate... they looked around and agreed. They then said that the hearing has been postponed to 2nd september. I asked if they received my case file and they said 'yes' and 'we will read it at the hearing on the 2nd'. That was it pretty much. Thanks again Dave Dimebar and others on here for your support and advice... all MUCH appreciated. I'd welcome any further amends/suggestions for the case file as I've a few weeks to prepare...

Thank You For Your Thoughts
Hi everyone, a quick thank you for all of the love and support from you all, it is much appreciated from us all, including Mouse🐕 (yes he is a dog)🤣but anyway, we have more treatment tomorrow (Holistic) Janine refused pharmacueticals and blood tests, still in pain, but she is coping, so thank you so much, Back home now, sorted most comments out, will do DMs tomorrow as need some time to clear myself, BUT i was not idle, just wait till Thursday, i have some interesting stuff for you; i was in Glasgow on Saturday, loved it, Dundee on Sunday, a long day, but great, with very positive feedback, (crap hotel though unfortunately) but when i get questions about topics, i dive into them, i look at the different angles, and while in Dundee, i was looking at Scottish law, it is a Civil Law jurisdiction, touched but not dominated by common law or equity; so there needs to be research done under that lens; So on the matter of trusts, the most common question i get is "How do i sell a property if in trust"? OR "What if we want to sell to downsize, or sell to just rent and live off the proceeds"? People ask this, but still want a level of protection against things like care fees, etc, so on Thursday i will show you a solution, well actually 2 solutuons, an English one and a Scottish one; My thoughts are that you will never had heard of this before, most have not, and even more not of the Scottish version, but you will have to wait until Thursday for all the info, i will leave you with this meme while i set the spooky2 up for Janine🥰 Thursday at 7:30pm >>> here <<<
