Covered Call ETFs for Income
I met with a friend recently who told me they’ve gone all-in on a few covered call ETFs. The appeal is clear — they can generate steady monthly income by writing options on top of a stock or index position. For income-focused investors, that regular cash flow looks attractive, especially in sideways or choppy markets. Just wondering if others here have looked into this or are doing the same? Right now I’m focused more on growth, but I like learning about new strategies so I can potentially allocate a portion of funds toward it later when it makes sense. My friend is reinvesting everything back as he's still young --- but with a good account size, I heard this can really be a great option for those who want to be hands-off.

@Kim Huynh Not yet. Technicals still don’t look good to me to enter. Waiting for a change in market direction. I added it to my watch list to just monitor for now.
NVDA
With 60x growth in last 5 years and PE of high 50s, do you think NVDA is overvalued? yes by many models but my gut says it can still make 5x in few years from here .. certainly my hold for long term investing. AI First story has just started and we have huge potential in front of us. What’s your opinion?

I’ve been increasing my NVDA position over the last few weeks with the expectation that the price will continue trending upward — hopefully, of course. One factor that gives me confidence is the earnings side. I’ve started looking more closely at EPS estimates, and NVDA’s numbers look strong. The growth trajectory analysts are projecting suggests the company is still well-positioned to deliver upside, which reinforces my conviction in holding and adding here. Check out the EPS this year, next year and next 5 years -- these are not certain --- but these analyst estimates give clues as to where big money may flow into.

@Sukhwinder Dhanoa it was a good time to buy after that consolidation. I have 2 positions….but it’s not moving much.
Are we close to Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)?
A recent comment from Elon Musk on AI: "I now think @xAI has a chance of reaching AGI with @Grok 5. Never thought that before...." What is AGI? AGI = “general-purpose AI.” It could learn any intellectual task a human can, across subjects from math to cooking to law to trading; and adapt without needing to be retrained for each new thing. AGI would have flexibility and reasoning abilities similar to humans, while today’s AI systems are still very specialized. Fun times ahead!!

We are close which is exciting and scary
ANET
Found another another strong one that I've added to my watchlist. Revenue and EPS growth rates have been consistently high and price just surpassed all time high again. There's no overhead resistance and so this one could continue to go up. Price looks extended presently and so I'm I am waiting to see what happens. Would like to see it consolidate a bit to absorb the recent upward move and will aim to enter at the next breakout, if it happens. Also checked the institutional interest — almost 70% owned by funds, over 84% of the tradable float locked up, plus 18% insider ownership. These numbers seem good to me and if institutions keep adding, this could continue to push it up.

i started a position in my long term account and it's doing well. i also took a swing position in another account and closed it after a few days - could have probably waited but it moved up quickly so just decided to lock in profit.

For now ANET is in an uptrend so i have been practicing buying at low points and selling into strength and then repeating the process again.
