FMS Level 2 Coming Soooon!
Hey guys! Just wanted to keep you posted on the progress I'm making towards releasing the Level 2 template :) TLDR: it's coming very soon๐Ÿฆ„ Let me know if you would like me to make more videos explaining the full system ;) P.S. There will also be a clear data migration plan to a new template, don't worry :) P.P.S. Join us on the live hangout if you have any questions!โค๏ธ

Nice! Can't wait to get started with that! I'm almost done with level 1 ๐Ÿ’ช
How are you using FMS?
Okay so I'm having trouble fitting the newer habits (in the later templates) into my day and closing cycles and I'm curious to see how others are handling this. First, Iโ€™m not sure when to end my day for habit tracking. A lot of habits (like โ€œin bed on timeโ€) can only be ticked off after theyโ€™re done, but I'm not going to come back to Notion after I've done by bedtime routine. How do you handle this? Do you just check things off the next morning? Second, Iโ€™ve been trying to do my weekly review on Monday mornings to close out Sunday, but I often run out of time before work. Also, by the time Monday morning rolls around, I feel like I'm late on planning my week already and am not prepared for what's coming. I find Iโ€™m more likely to do my review Sunday afternoon, but that messes with my weekly scores since Sunday isnโ€™t quite finished yet. So my main question is: how are you all fitting FMS into your day when cycle closures tend to happen late? Any routines that help make it smoother? Give me your best tips!!

Hi Jen! I totally get your confusion about this! I went through the same thing at first, and I can share whatโ€™s been working for me. With the "in bed on time" habit, I keep it simple: to me that refers to the previous day. I think that makes sense because when you enter your "sleep start" time in the morning that actually refers to the previous day. As for the weekly review and planning part my approach has actually changed over time. I used to do it on Monday, so I could close out the full week and plan the next one all at once. It made Monday kind of my โ€œadministrativeโ€ day. But later I realized I prefer to start Monday already knowing my plan, so now I wrap up my week on Sunday instead. Even if not all data for Sunday is final, it doesnโ€™t really distort the overall picture and it feels great to begin the week with clarity and focus. That approach feels pretty effective for me, but Iโ€™d love to hear what others do too, maybe there are even smarter ways to handle it! ๐Ÿ˜Š

I noticed some you sharing bits of your stories and I absolutely love reading those! Thought itโ€™d be cool to have one place where we can all get to know each other๐Ÿ™Œ Hereโ€™s a simple format you can follow (but feel free to freestyle if you want): Hey, I'm from _____________. My main interests include _________, __________. (plus would love to hear your background with Notion and goals with LifeOS!)

Hey everyone ๐Ÿ‘‹ Iโ€™m Velata, joining from the Republic of Moldova ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฉ. My main interests are psychology, self-development (both personal and professional โ€” HR is my field), and staying active with hiking and gym training. After 7 years in recruitment helping people find the right roles, analyzing their needs, and adapting to the constant changes in the labor market, I decided to start a consulting project in the field of career guidance. The idea first came to me about 3 years ago, and since then Iโ€™ve been gathering materials, saving success stories from my practice, and taking notes in Notion. But because everything was so scattered and unstructured, I never managed to move from โ€œcollectingโ€ to actually building. Iโ€™m just as happy as all of you that Peterโ€™s system is now available to use and bring into our Notion lives. For me, it feels like the right structure to finally organize my thoughts, ideas, and this whole project and even my life in general :) I really love how thoughtful and deep the approach is, starting from the basics and focusing on consistency in daily routines. So Iโ€™m here to learn, apply, and turn my โ€œchaotic draftsโ€ into a solid reality ๐Ÿ™Œ Iโ€™m excited to be part of this community and to share the journey! Also curious to hear how others are using LifeOS in their projects and lives, looking forward to exchanging ideas!
Moving to Stage 2!
OK, I guess I'll be the first one :) This whole thing has been very new to me, so I took my time on stage 1 (3 weeks) But I really needed to get in the habit of planning and reviewing my days and weeks, so happy that was step 1. Weekly reviews in particular have been amazing. Seeing all days of the week with their focuses and outcomes is super useful. I noticed I tend to forget what I did in the beginning of the week, so nice to be reminded :) Also just wanted to say that I loved the intro module, now the bigger picture is much cleared and I'm excited to be moving forward! Anyway! Excited to start tracking metrics and setting targets! We'll see how it goes ;) P.S. Thank you for the system!
