I just finished watching the section on projects, and it really makes a lot of sense - especially given the hangups I usually have around long-term goals (and not usually planning that far out given how quickly things seem to shift for me.) The one question I have as result: are you essentially using top level projects instead of goals? Based on the diagram of the FMS universe, it looks like you just call "Effort" what most people would call both "Goals" or "Projects".

So, as I understand it, in the context of Life OS, FMS stands for "Fundamental Mastery System." It's described as the foundation that models things like time, using cycles, effort through projects, actions, and routines, knowledge management, and domains. It's meant to be universal and flexible, growing and contracting with the user's needs. This is my short discriptor of FMS in the Life OS, and basically how I would describe it to others. My question is. Is this a good description to present to others when asked about FMS?

Hi all I was hoping to get started and familiarizing myself with the new system after watching through all the videos, but I hit a snag. My plan was to use December, with the last week and days of December to familiarize myself with the system ended in a frustrating loop I don't see how to untangle. The migration of the databases seemed to go ok, but the views don't pull the information to finish the month and week. There is nothing listed to se what was registered the first 25 days of the month or the first 4 days of the week. there is also no boxes for pros, cons, lessons and summary. That makes it difficult to pull the lvl1 flows up to lvl2 to learn what is new and different. Anyone else have this problem? Or any suggestion on how to solve it? Right now I am tempted to say "fuk it", but it sucks to not be able to close off the year proper, and if feels harder to start the new proper without it.
