Word Magic: Your Vocation Is Your Location
The etymology of vocation says, “spiritual calling, summons, urging" to a specific activity” . It also says “The sense of "one's employment, occupation" is attested by 1550s, including both mechanical and professional“ I’m not showing you this to show you the connection between your spiritual calling and your employment. You already know this. I’m showing it to you, to rewire how you see the connection between your spiritual calling and your location. God asked Adam, “where are you”, not because “he” didn’t know where Adam was. But because this forces one to answer a position of where you are in your authority over self. This question was asked after the whole eating of the apple shenanigans. And so this is the beginning of forgetting that you’re a creator. And so the divine is always asking you what is your location?? Not physically…..: not even mentally. But in your AUTHORITY. Are you positioned as an author over your story or simply a victim of life? Whether you are in alignment with your vocation (spiritual calling) depends heavily on your Location in the story. As they are the same word. FYI The letter V & the letter L Is the same symbol. Therefore, you cannot have one without the other. The universe is always reinforcing not only WHO you say you are, but also WHERE you say you are in the story. So the question is does who you say you are match where you say you are in self authority? The answer will reveal where you are physically,, emotionally, mentally etc. Happy Jupiter Day!

@Dr. Kimesha McDowell this feels big - we are on to something.. reading your questions bring to mind: did he ever embody who he was told that he was? And that brings to mind The Fools Journey from the Tarot story - the journey to self discovery. Then this brings to mind your question to us: what has it cost us to not live in our identity.. I've worked a tiny bit on my book today and the first chapter is about knowing thyself from the attachment style (adaptation) perspective.

Pay To Speak vs Paid To Speak
Someone asked me about paying to speak at conferences & what's some things I typically look out for when solicited. This is a good question, so I’ll answer it here for everyone. It's long, but worth the read if you want to understand the speaking world a little better. First, let me be clear. Many people don't know this, but some speakers pay to speak at summits and conferences. Why? Because this allows them to borrow an audience. The question here is do they get paid to speak. Well.... they can. But it depends on the rules of the conference or summit. Speaking opportunities usually fall into two categories: 1️⃣ You create your own paid speaking opportunities by building your own audience. 2️⃣ You speak on someone else’s platform where they’ve gathered the audience & sometimes they will ask you to pay (because they did the hard part). 3️⃣ You’re hired and paid to speak. This is the one everyone wants but it comes from prior proof, positioning, and reputation. In other words, you usually need to have a portfolio which happens in 1 & 2. For the second option (summits, conferences, panels, etc.), there are a few things you need to look at, especially when it’s pay-to-play. 1: Do you have a back-end offer? If you don’t have something to sell, you’re basically showing up to motivate, inspire, or lecture,. This is fine if that's what you want, but unless they are paying you, the money you make usually comes from what you sell from the stage. 2: Is it your audience? Not just “do they have people,” but are these people actually aligned with what you sell and who you serve? Do these people fit your ideal client or audience? A small, curated room is better than a room full of people that are not your people. 3: Who is really building the audience? Sometimes these summits or conferences (especially online) require every speaker to promote. They may even ask for your email list. The event is often an aggregation of a bunch of other speakers’ audiences. That’s not necessarily bad—but this makes the audience very muddy. Can you sell your back end offer in it?

If You’re Afraid Of Sales & Marketing, Read This
In the past 24 hours, I’ve had two people say some version of “Sales isn’t really my thing.” From a metaphysical psychology perspective, when someone says “sales isn’t my thing,”they’re not describing a missing skill set, they’re describing a nervous system response. The issue here is that people avoid going deeper into their own language & dismantling the story that the nervous system is holding. Because saying “sales isn’t my thing” lands softer than: • My body doesn’t feel safe being evaluated • I associate money with taking instead of exchange • I’m afraid of appearing like I’m in need • I take it personal when someone says no So the nervous system sugarcoats the truth and exits the conversation early. What’s missing here is the opportunity to reframe and alchemize how the body interprets the process of sales & marketing. Sales is not naturally aggressive or manipulative. Sales is not even capitalism gone wrong. Sales is a conversation about transformation. Always….. it does not matter what you are selling. At the end of the day it is transformation For spiritual entrepreneurs in particular, when you realize that the people you’re helping could never pay you enough for what you give, the game changes. Because money is temporary. But when you give something that rewires how someone thinks, chooses, speaks, and moves through reality, you will understand that what you gave them last wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy longer than what they gave you in money. That money will be spent in weeks or months. But a transformation shift lasts for life & can even be taught to the next generation. 👉🏽That is called VALUE And until the body feels safe holding VALUE MORE than money, “sales will not be your thing”. Be honest, when you say ‘sales isn’t my thing,’ what are you actually trying to avoid feeling?”

It’s Not the Post Or The Video You’re Avoiding
You said you’d finally promote your service this weekend. It’s Saturday morning. Laptop open. Canva pulled up. You tweak the headline. Then the colors. Then the wording. An hour passes. You tell yourself, “I’ll come back to this.” You close the tab. Sunday night. Same plan. Same promise. Except now you’re scrolling other people’s content, telling yourself you need to “refine your messaging” first. Another hour disappears. No post. No promotion. No invitation to work with you. What Actually Happened The moment you tried to put your work in front of people, your nervous system unconsciously got triggered. This happens because the thought of promoting your service pushes you back into an old version of you and that version made the decision to stop. The Real Cost That wasn’t just a missed post. It was: • another week without revenue • another delay in being seen in your authority • another repetition of self betrayal • another decision made for you by a logical, yet unconscious voice And each time that happens, your body learns a pattern: start → hesitate → retreat → repeat The issue Is not the thought you hear out loud. “I just need to polish this.” It’s the whisper underneath it. “Who am I to charge for this?” "I don't have enough knowledge yet". " I need another certification first." "I need to sign up for this other course first" That voice has been deciding your business moves longer than you realize. For some of you, your entire life. Because it NEVER was about "promoting your business". If this felt familiar, it’s because you’ve been here before. Not just with a post. Not just with an offer. This is a self-value pattern. These patterns don’t end when they’re exposed. They end when they’re identified at the root And I'm about to say something that might offend some of you. That pattern usually doesn’t end by reading a post. Happy Saturday 💕

Don’t Tell Me You Don’t Have Talent.
Because what you’re actually saying is: “I haven’t tapped into the organic, chaotic, creative energy that exists inside my DNA yet.” And that’s different. I made a Tiktok about talent & spiritual gifts today. Someone commented:“I think my spiritual gift is that I go through the worst so I can teach people how to navigate it… but I’m drained.” So let’s do some word magic. The word talent contains the word tale. Your talent is hidden inside your story. But here’s the part most people miss. If the story is not cultivated, it will drain you. If the story is alchemized, it will fund you. This is why so many people feel exhausted by their story. They believe the purpose of the story is to survive it, endure it, or explain it to others. Some even simply want pity for it. But the real work is to use it (alchemize it). This is Saturn coded. The motto for Capricorn is "I use" which means "I employ", Put your story to work, But most people never get here because their creative energy is constantly siphoned off into the 3D loop: school, work, kids, partners, TV, scrolling, distractions, coping mechanisms. I am not shaming any of that. What I am asking and will continue to ask is, "When does it turn into creativity?". None of those things are the problem. They become the problem when they replace creative cultivation. You have talent. Everyone does. Because God is creative energy (talent). And you have God in your DNA. And creative energy is not neat, logical, or limited. It is organic. It is chaotic. And it is waiting to be shaped. The story isn’t draining you.The uncooked story is.
