Before you launch your event, define what success looks like & the metric tied to it If you don’t define the metric, your nervous system will define it for you emotionally. And you’ll be saying you failed when you never even determined what it means to say “It was successful” This leads to giving up before you ever really started. . Defining what success means to the nervous system is crucial as you shift into a new identity.

Telling yourself that you’re healing from something while simultaneously claiming you can help other people get xyz result is what feeds imposter syndrome. If your nervous system is still anchored in “I am healing,”you will hesitate to say “I help people have xyz result.” And even if you say it, it will land as empty to your audience. They can feel that disconnect I’m not saying that you should not be healing while teaching, mentoring, guiding. I’m saying, you have to change what you believe healing is in order to get past the contradiction in the nervous system. The word “healing” can actually keep you in an unconscious loop of imposter syndrome. This is why I teach belief conversion & language alchemy inside the Identity Reconstruction Lab. Because this container is not only about taking steps to get paid for your creativity. It’s about getting to the root of the belief that has you stuck in the 1st place.

I claimed this as a part my identity along with a few others in the beginning of me joining this group. I realized after our last conference call that I was spinning my wheels by trying to do it all at once(again). I was not getting anything done and I didn't have anything ready for a back end offer even if I was ready to publicly speak. I took some time after that to focus, and guess what? I've written my first book!!!! I'm in the proofreading and editing phase and this is the furthest I've gotten with any book period. It's completely written, I actually finished the last page yesterday. I am focused and clear on my steps and I'm not rushing just to get it done. I came here to share my progress because I'm really proud of MyCellf and I'm thankful. Being here has really pushed me to get it out and done. This has been years in the making and it won't stop here, I'm just getting started!!!!!
