Nutrition while out of town
Woke up to baklava, cheese pies, zataar bread on the table so im gonna share with you guys my tips on how to stay locked in during family travel. #1 you cant eat bad all day everyday... yesterday i knew my cousin was taking me out and i wanted to enjoy dinner w him without being annoying, so i woke up early, ate healthy all day, to offset the damage at night (still tracked every single calorie so i dont completely go overboard. Today was the same thing, im not going to have a completely unhealthy breakfast while at home, when i know im going to be eating with family later, CHOOSE YOUR BATTLES. #2 If you cheat. get after it......i literally told my cousin last night as we were eating the burger he just had to have my try. that tomorrow i am waking up and fucking getting after it, thats exactly what i did. found a Muy thai gym, did an hour session, and jogged 2 miles home. #3 You dont have to do what your friends/family do.... When Armenians mourne the death of a loved one, theres a lot of food involved and thats how we show love. That doesnt mean thats how i show or recieve love. Its okay to be different, your family will get over it. and maybe you'll inspire them to be healthier to. #4 Check your weight daily..... Since startting this challenge i'm down about 4lbs. i told myself during this trip, id commit to every step of the protocol and count ever calorie but allow myself cheats SO LONG AS my weight doesnt jump back above 200lbs. and thats exactly what im doing. What are some questions struggles you guys have when traveling that I could help u out with ?
