Be careful on your LinkedIn connections if you want more reach 💀
I've been testing the results for around 6-7 months now. Your LinkedIn connections 100% impact how your content performs, the reach it has, and who the posts actually get sent out to. Here's what we've found and what you should do: 1. Under 500 connections = small test pool. LinkedIn can’t test your content widely. 2. Thousands of irrelevant connections mean your first distribution goes to people who don’t care. 3. If your network is full of recruiters, classmates, or randoms outside your niche, your posts die early. The algorithm sees “no clicks = not valuable.” 4. A smaller, targeted audience that interacts beats a massive one. 2,000 aligned connections > 20,000 randoms. 5. Disconnect or unfollow irrelevant or inactive people in chunks (20–30/day). Refill with ICP-aligned connections. Focus on your ICP and ACTIVE people on LinkedIn only. That's my advice for today. Cha-cha! Alex
