I was working with a private client today and saw him in that crux between being committed to grow and successfully building AND USING the internal systems to delegate and enjoy results from a kickass team. Has anyone ever shared with you the NUMBER ONE new habit you need Boss to get through that point in growth? I'll drop the answer in the comments here but first answer this poll first. It is a doozy because it will be a REAL CEO move. But first, how often do you feel you have to re-do team work, handle overflow client work, and/or catch up on your own to do list just to deliver for customer commitments your company has taken on? Gregg just hired for a new role in his growing marketing company! He hired their first graphic designer (a HUGE move from using Independent Contractors) on the team. AND... if I can brag on what he shared with me, he sent a detailed welcome email to build enthusiasm while also laying out the goals he had for the new team member to achieve that week (meetings for trainings, debriefs with him daily, and more).
