Just Like It Should BE!
On yesterday's LIVE cooking class, made this basic umami sambal. Had it cooled down and not it will last me for about 1 -2 months unless I have guest tasting it. Full Video will be in the Classroom tab uploading soon. My kitchen still smells like ....... Sambal!! 🤣

📌 A) Welcome to Confident Home Cooking Welcome Foodies, I’m really glad you’re here. Confident Home Cooking is a space for people who enjoy cooking and want to feel more capable and confident in the kitchen. This group is about understanding how ingredients come together deliciously to make a dish/meal, not chasing trends or perfect recipes. Here we focus on: - Building confidence through fundamentals - Understanding flavor, ingredients, and technique - Cooking intentionally with real, hopefully organic and accessible ingredients - Simple basic fermentation and curing - Adapting recipes when ingredients aren’t available You don’t need professional training or fancy equipment. Curiosity and a willingness to learn are enough. This is a respectful, judgment-free space. Questions are welcome, mistakes are part of learning, and progress looks different for everyone. If you’re comfortable, introduce yourself: - Where you’re cooking from - What you enjoy cooking (or want to improve) - One thing you’d like to feel more confident about Take your time. Remember, you’re not here to impress anyone, you’re here to learn. 📌 B) Community Guidelines To keep this space calm, useful, and respectful, please follow these simple guidelines: 1.
