REALLY easy ways to get a clay gig
Getting your first or a couple of gigs with Clay is actually not hard. Literally all you have to do is the following: Go into the Smartlead, Instantly, Clay Slack channel, go to the hiring thread and there are daily jobs waiting for you. Just pitch them every single day. Go to the Clay job board, there are a ton of opportunities there. Use Clay’s hiring search, looking for GTM/Outbound/RevOps roles on a contractual basis Or go into Upwork and pitch for gigs there. If you have 2-3 testimonials and proof of good work it makes it easier. If you don’t just work with someone for free for a month in exchange for a testimonial. Your sorted after that.

need help with list building
hey guys, I need to build a list for the following segments: Freelance Travel Agents Independent agents or small “one-person” shops who sell bespoke, tailor-made trips on a per-client basis. Mid-Size FIT Operators (10–200 employees) Specialist “Free Independent Traveller” tour operators offering customizable—often self-drive or self-hike—packages to individual travelers or very small groups. Group / Tour-Series Operators Larger companies that run scheduled group departures or multi-departure tour series (e.g. fixed-itinerary adventure or cultural tours) and need a reliable DMC partner in Argentina These are for a receptive travel agency in Argentina doing $6M/yr - they have product market fit and a list of 40+ active clients, I'm having a really hard time filtering the list. I have a list of companies/people I scraped from apollo but I have no clue on how to segment it correctly Can anyone help?

Clay Drop-In Drop Out Sessions
Hi folks, since making the changes to our drop-in sessions. We have experienced a smaller volume of people. I'm going to pause this quickly. Help me out on this one. What would be your perfect setup for these calls and course structures?

Hey man, I was inactive for a while due to work. Have been working 60hrs lol all on clay and infra. Will resume joining calls. I have added them into my calendar. Lets make clay calls great again 😄
An alternative way to make a passive $100kp/m
Hey folks, just so we are clear. Clay doesn't have to be outbound. There are many use-cases, like Rev-Ops and that is where I think it will evolve. Here are some exaggerated use cases made by AI 1. Predictive Pipeline Inflation Detector Problem: Sales reps overinflate pipeline deals to look good. Forecasts are fake. Management doesn't know what's real. Clay Setup: - Pull live CRM pipeline data into Clay (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) - Cross-reference open deals against: - Score deal likelihood automatically using an OpenAI model trained on "deal death" signals. - Auto-tag "Zombie Deals" in CRM and notify RevOps weekly with a Clay-generated report: Result: Sales managers know which reps are sandbagging BEFORE the quarter explodes. 2. Comp Plan Abuse Detector ("The Grifter Hunter") Problem: Reps game the comp plan — dragging deals, splitting accounts, moving renewal dates, or pushing to easy logos. Clay Setup: - Pull rep activity data (deals closed, renewal dates, account mapping, etc.) - Cross-reference Clay enrichment on company: - Use Clay + OpenAI to build a "Grift Score" per rep each month: - Auto-generate leadership alerts for top 5 most "engineered" quota wins. Result: Catch reps gaming the system before Finance starts asking why margins are garbage. 3. Instant GTM Retargeter: "From Demo to Dreamforce in 60 Seconds" Problem:Your team books demos but barely re-markets to no-shows, light interest demos, or not-yet-qualified buyers. Clay Setup: - Sync demo data (attendees, no-shows, light engagement scores) - Auto-enrich companies with new buyer signals: - If any buying signals spike post-demo: Result: Deals that would have died quietly are aggressively nurtured without sales lifting a finger. How is this passive? Build 5-6 Rev-Ops templates like this Sell them for $10k one-time Implement over a month with pre-built documentation for a large sales team Take referral bonuses on the tools used Where the money really is: You are extremely scarce resources, big companies can't find people like you. You have built an extremely complex use-case in their company and you have leverage.

I'd like to see these usecases practically done. In yet to try. Interesting though.

Hey guys, great to be here. I run an outbound agency using cold email and LinkedIn as a channel as well as work as a GTM engineer at a fast pace startup. I use clay as my primary tool. Looking forward to meeting a lot of you great clay makers and outbound experts here
