@Peggy Bishop I didn't know they made them that big. Will have to look into it as I have run out of space on my 1T.
Win to Share - Tyrone's Story
Tyrone recently pivoted away from a niche that wasn’t fully aligned with who he is. When he came to me, his channel focused on finances and budgeting. He had successfully pulled himself out of debt and wanted to help others do the same. And while that story mattered, it wasn’t the full picture of who Tyrone is or what he’s here to do. There was a deeper calling he’d been ignoring—and that disconnect was draining his motivation and momentum. Through some honest (and not always easy) conversations, it became clear that what truly lit him up was something entirely different. Pivoting isn’t easy. Admitting “this isn’t it anymore” takes courage. Choosing what you actually want—and fully committing to it—takes even more. I’m incredibly proud of you, Tyrone. Your commitment, clarity, and work ethic are paying off, and the way you’re showing up now is powerful. This level of drive makes you unstoppable. I’m sharing his story because many of you feel this too. You know you’re meant for more. You feel the pull toward something different—but changing direction feels scary. Here’s what I believe deeply: when you know, you know. And when you listen to that knowing and act on it, it can lead you straight into your best life. Keep going. You’ve got this.2026 is going to be miraculous.

@Miss X I too had thought about a financial channel, but I didn't do it, because I don't want to do that many talking head videos, so I chose a quilting channel instead. Other reasons for me to get out of debt channel: 1. Youtube likes content that encourages people to buy so it wouldn't get as much reach 2. You can only tell people to stop spending outside of their means and pay off their debt so many times before it gets boring. 3. Since I am out of debt, none of the research on the topic would benefit me, since I would be looking more for next steps for investment advice, retirement, etc.

Congratulations, Tyrone!
How much does YouTube pay
Ok I just told someone that my goal was to get monetized on YouTube and they asked me “How much can you earn from YouTube monetization?” And I honestly don’t know. How do I answer that question? I should know but I just don’t.

The number of views change for each video, some are just more popular than others. And some people, niches, and topics are more popular than others. And your audience has more time to watch videos (maybe in the winter, during vacations), and less time to watch videos (maybe in the summer), depending on your niche, and the location of your viewers. The pay per 1k views changes too, depending on what advertisers want to pay. It goes up in December, but then goes back down for the rest of the year. So as others have said, there are lots of variables, and on top of that, the variables keep changing. The hope is that you wind up with some evergreen content that forms a base and that overall some sort of stability forms (at least a minimum or normal amount). My income at my last job was like that, so I found that the key is to spend the minimum and save the rest for emergencies, because you know that the rest of the money isn't a guarantee. I made $114 in 2024 and $220 in 2025. Many people make that per month but not me.
Looking for advice from fresh perspectives
Hi! I’m learning a ton from the live calls, and I really appreciate being part of these discussions 🙏🏻 I just finished editing a new video, and I’m looking for honest feedback. How does it feel to you? Does it speak to you, or does something feel unclear or off? My biggest challenge is combining a strong hook with clear benefits while keeping the video engaging and not overexplained. I’d love to hear what works and what you’d change. Thank you and have a peaceful holiday ✨

I do paint from time to time. I recently painted on lace on my channel. This is a great video, great pacing, calm voice, motivating, and the B roll kept it interesting.
How many videos to start with
Hey ya'll. I have an existing channel, but I am going to start a new and totally different one in a new niche. I haven't found a lot of resources for how many video's to start with. Some say start with multiple so YT has more data for your niche. Then I have heard where if you have more than one, that viewers may get off to soon and YT will give you negative marks. What's ya'lls opinion including Alexa's. Anyone had success with multiple vids to start and if so how many? Dropped at once or scheduled over how long a period of time?

There usually aren't a lot of viewers at the beginning, so instead of holding on to videos to post later, I would rather just get them out. The only reason I can think of to hold on to them is to get a little bit ahead of schedule so that you can post consistently.
