I don’t know what is happening with my videos?
I’m not sure if this is the right place for this question, or if it should go in the feedback section. I have a question about my videos being seen. As you can see in the screenshots, about 2,000 people were shown the video, but only 10 people clicked on it. And from those clicks, it looks like only the first 30 seconds were watched. What do you think is going on? I don’t think it’s an algorithm problem. Also, this isn’t the only video where I’m seeing this. I updated the thumbnails this morning (less than six hours ago). You tube recommendations
You tube has Ask Studio where I requested feedback on one of my videos. They said I loose viewers at the channel intro after my hook. So should I shorten the intro like suggested? Also, I shared a tip, I quote, "you share the pro-tip about dipping your fingers in water while shaping the dough." What is the meaning of this recommendation? "Recommendation: For future cooking videos, focus on front-loading these helpful, high-value, practical tips that might not be obvious to a home cook. Viewers love to feel they are learning a trick!" Thank you for your help.
I’m looking for a bit of help with YouTube & Skool
I’m hoping for some advice around YouTube → Skool. I run a Skool community for UK first-time buyers in England, and I know the transformation happens once people are inside the community. The problem I’m having is using my YouTube to actually get the right people into Skool. My YouTube content is practical and aimed at people who want to buy but aren’t quite ready yet. So deposit, credit, and understanding the buying process — but I’m struggling to turn viewers into community members. There are so many people in the UK who want to buy a home. They don’t need convincing, they just need guidance. I know I can help once they find their way in, but I’m clearly missing something in how I’m using YouTube. If you’ve grown a community using YouTube, I’d really value your perspective: What would you focus on first? How would you position YouTube to feed a Skool community? Is there anything obvious I might be overlooking? Any honest advice would really help — I’m here to learn and improve.
Question!
Hi! Say I make a video. Then I have an extra point to make whether at the end or in the middle that I didn’t on the first take . How can I do so? I simply use the video on iPhone.
VidIQ Subscription worth it?
My channel is only a month old (but I’m in it to win it). ;) VidIQ is offering 55% off a monthly subscription forever (including Live Feed). Do y’all think it’s worth it? I’ve been using the free version for titles, descriptions, and looking at outlier videos, but that’s as far as I’ve gotten. I use chatgpt (and myself) for title ideas and then see how they score with VidIQ. It’s been helpful (although views are of course low at this stage), but it’s also time consuming to do it that way and they only give one set of title suggestions per day with the free version. I think Alexa also recommended comparing both VidIQ and Tube Buddy keyword analytics, but I haven’t gotten that far. I’ve also seen several YT teachers recommend Descript, but I don’t even know if that offers title/keyword help. I’d love to hear your experience. TIA!
