Time Pressure as an ADHD Tool?
Hey everyone, do you know this too, that it can be incredibly helpful to decide very clearly in advance how many minutes you want to spend on a task, set a timer, and then just do it, whether it is something work related or something very everyday like showering or cooking. I remember that I used to struggle a lot with this because the thought immediately came up that time pressure creates too much pressure and that pressure is never good. But I have noticed for myself, maybe also because of my ADHD brain, that this helps me a lot and interestingly it almost always works out to the second when I decide on the time beforehand. And the feeling afterwards honestly feels like a small dopamine hit for me. š—Ŗš—µš—¼ š—²š—¹š˜€š—² š˜‚š˜€š—²š˜€ š˜š—¶š—ŗš—² š—ŗš—¼š—暝—² š—®š˜€ š—½š—¼š˜€š—¶š˜š—¶š˜ƒš—² š˜€š˜‚š—½š—½š—¼š—暝˜ š—暝—®š˜š—µš—²š—æ š˜š—µš—®š—» š—®š˜€ š—® š˜€š˜š—暝—²š˜€š˜€ š—³š—®š—°š˜š—¼š—æ?

I think they're actually a Polish company!
Got the TimeFlip2
Interesting little contraption. Hopefully it helps me keep track of where my time is going. I'll report back. Right now it's a little overwhelming.

@Kevin Kearney yep!
This single ADHD mom CRUSHED it.
I had to give a shout out to one of our newest Accelerator members, @Amber Kay. Amber is a single mom of three kids. She's been surviving on a low-wage dog training job at a soulless company for the last few years, and something AMAZING happened to her last month: She quit her job and went full-time on her own dog training business. The best part? In her FIRST MONTH on her own as a business owner, she made $1,600 more than she would have working full-time at her job. Without working any harder... While working from home. Probably in her PJs most of the time. (Just a guess šŸ˜‰) Very few people have inspired me as much as Amber has. She works harder than almost anyone I know, raising three kids on her own while working full-time and planning an exit to run her own company. Most businesses take 2-5 years to start profiting. Amber did it on MONTH ONE. If she can do it, so can you. Thanks for inspiring us, Amber šŸ™ Wanna learn about how the Accelerator helped Amber hit this huge success? Drop a comment and like on this post! If we hit at least 50 comments, I'll see if I can convince Amber to do an interview with me on how she pulled off this incredible feat!

The money šŸ’° is in the FOLLOW UP
Have you ever sent an outreach email or DM about your services, just to be ghosted? Maybe you followed up once. If you’re REALLY dedicated, maybe you followed up a second time. But would you send a fourth email if you still hadn’t heard back? Well, this guy did just that. He sent me not two, not three, but FOUR emails. His initial email made a pretty killer offer; a free AI avatar and video scripts. I thought, ā€œmeh, probably BSā€ He sent me two more emails. I still didn’t care. His fourth email? He offered me a $100 gift card if I don’t get any value from the video he wanted to send me. At that point I thought, ā€œOK, I appreciate this guys dedication. He seems serious about wanting to give me something valuable.ā€ So I finally said yes, send me the video. Not because I care about the $100, but because his dedication and willingness to go above and beyond what most people are was intriguing to me. I always tell our clients the money is in the follow-up. ā€œBut I did follow up!ā€ They’d often say. But did you follow up WELL? And did you follow up THREE TIMES or more beyond your initial message? When someone ghosts you, don’t take it personally. People are busy and have been burned. They don’t have time to answer every message, especially with so many scammers and shitty offers out there just looking to take their money. Be relentless in outreach, be relentless in giving value. It’s the best way to grow a new business AND an existing one.
