What is considered a normal conversion rate?
I have been optimizing my funnel on my site bigboatrentals.com to get more customers to inquire about boats and ultimately book more boats but im finding that based on the amount of people that click on my ad to when they take the first action on my site, its very low, like 1.39% low. So over the last 30 days 3,450 people clicked on my ad and went to the site, out of those people only 48 people went through the first process of filling out an inquiry form. This seems really low. I posted a video highlighting the issue in more detail and the funnel that is setup to paint a clear picture of where im seeing an issue. If anyone has any thoughts about this the help would be greatly appreciated.

@Mushfiq Khan Yea im getting a little over 1% for the first form that is filled out based on the total clicks we get to the site. I just figured the conversion should be higher. On lead gen forms what is the average?

Thanks @Mushfiq Khan thats pretty high. But i can see that with a an offer of a FREE quote or Lead Magnet of some kind. Were taking visitors right to the listing results page. Maybe I can offer a promotion when they land on the site to increase the conversion rate in the first step or something else.
Need guidance on updating bidding strategy to conversions
I have been running an ad campaign now for about 3 months and i need some guidance on changing the bidding strategy from max clicks to max conversions. I figured it would be easier to watch a video of the process customers go through on our site to show how the conversions are captured and then be able to determine which conversion goal i should be targeting. Also @Austin LeClear based on the last video you sent me now that we are a few months I wanted to show you the process renters go through to let me know if there is any updates to the bidding strategy that can be taken now.

@Denis Leskovets Hey I just connected Microsoft Clarity to my site and connected it to Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Google Ads so that I can see what people are doing on my site. It actually screen records each session when a user comes to your site so you can see if there are any areas people are getting stuck on your site. Its awesome and I have already caught a couple of things that I can optimize better with my forms that should increase conversion. Best of all its free and pretty simple to setup. Check it out https://clarity.microsoft.com/

Hi @Mushfiq Khan that makes a lot of sense because if i optimize conversion for Request to Book, then it should improve conversions for purchases as well. Thanks
Competitor Information
Does anyone have a tool they use to track competitor keywords for Paid? I haven't found a tool that has reliable data for paid. One of our clients just got an email from an an agency saying they could provide an audit of the keywords our competitors were out ranking us for in Paid and I am just wondering if I am missing something or how they are doing this.

I believe www.semrush.com can show you that data. Here is a screenshot from the free version. They have a few tools in there for Paid although many people use them for SEO.
Need help-Best strategy for setting up campaign for jewelery store.
I have a new client that has a jewelry store and specifically focuses mostly on selling Cuban Link Chains. I was originally looking at setting up a search campaign because i am familiar with it and search volume is pretty good. But i see it might also be best to setup a shopping campaign. My questions is are those two different campaigns or is there a way to have that as apart of one campaign where Im applying budget? The conversion tracking is all setup but setting up a campaign for products is a bit new to me. Really just want to know the best type of campaign to setup.

Keyword match type question
Hi @Austin LeClear. Thanks for the guidance and we are almost done with the Instant Book feature and will share the results once that is complete. I have a question when it comes to adding keywords with Exact match Match Types. Take a look at the following video and let me know what you think. Appreciate your guidance. https://app.screencastify.com/v3/watch/XNNfk0fDlpJPR9swRUGZ
