What challenges have I overcome? 1. I tore my ACL at 13 and chose to take the full 12 months to rehab to ensure I fully healed. 2. I played on boy teams or played up 2-4 years when playing with girls so I had to prove myself every time I stepped onto the field. 3. I have to prove myself every day now that I am playing on a professional team with women much older than me to earn minutes. 4. Being the only black person on the team with both the girls and the boys unless I was playing on a team with my twin brother. What makes me memorable? My style of play, my work ethic, and my determination.
