In yogic philosophy, the great teacher of death is Shiva —the silent witness who sits in meditation among ashes, teaching us that what we lose was never truly ours, and what we are cannot be destroyed. Scorpio energy is this same fire of dissolution. It burns illusion. It strips away the false self so the soul can stand naked in truth.Every heartbreak, every letting go, every silent metamorphosis is a small cremation — an offering to the divine. Through these deaths, I’ve learned that loss is not the opposite of life —it’s what keeps life sacred. It is what keeps love honest. So if you’re in a season of endings let the ashes remind you:something holy always survives the fire. 🦂Death is the yoga of Scorpio —not an ending, but a return to the eternal.

Truly in love with how this experience turned out. I used to imagine what my YTT would be like whenever I had the opportunity to do it. In my vision it was in a beautiful/peaceful place, with a wonderful teacher — and in my reality, that teacher was Sierra, I am truly grateful to have learned from you. The way Sierra explains everything and then embodies the practices makes it really natural to remember, at the same time as a woman she's such an example of empowerment and how to use it to be a leader.
