Today, a challenge
I challenge you to focus only on your strengths. Write down three strengths you have and focus there when your mind tries to drift anywhere negative today. The can be a short 3 liner, mine reflects what I’d like to focus on today ☺️

Learning to Be Present
I recently finished Module 4 on presence and it really made me reflect. I’m someone who spends a lot of time traveling to future. I’m always worrying, overthinking, trying to be “prepared.” But instead of helping, it’s been keeping me in a constant state of stress. Learning about “time traveling” and using tools like the STOP sign technique and breath work has already made a difference. I’m definitely still working on it, but I’m so much more aware now! Feeling grateful to be learning these tools and to be part of this community!😄

I'm guilty of "future tripping" & it is debilitating for me. The stop technique is incredibly helpful & for me if concludes with a BAMO breath. Thank you for sharing!
A Burst of Love
I start my "work" week on Tuesdays, so today is "my Monday". Instead of feeling bummed, I am feeling grateful for so many things. My almost 2 year old happily went to daycare with no tears, I love working for a company that I'm passionate about that provides me with a healthy work-life balance, and I am looking forward to a mini-vacation in one week to see family. My friends and I used to call this a burst of love... when you feel like you want to share your gratitude out loud! Hope ya'll enjoyed my burst. I would love to hear yours!

I drive to the mountains for work but the drive home is my love burst! Monday is usually busy & I help a lot of patients, as well as Tuesday is my remote day. So I love driving home - super grateful!
Intermittent Energy Renewals – Grounded & Focused
This morning, I started my day with one of my favorite intermittent energy renewals: a barefoot walk on the beach. I spent about an hour and a half with my toes in the sand and feet in the water—fully present, fully grounded. Getting outside and connecting with nature helps me clear my mind and set the tone for the day. This longer renewal is my personal preference because it also gives me a chance to get in 6,000 to 8,000 steps if I’m not doing a full workout that morning. That said, intermittent energy renewals don’t need to be long. A few intentional minutes can be just as powerful. The key is tuning in—finding space to reset your energy and realign your mindset so you’re not letting outside noise steer your thoughts. How are you choosing to renew today?

Summer Heat Hack: Reset Your Nervous System with a Cold Shower
When the temps soar, cold showers don’t feel so brutal—and that’s your cue to build a new habit that trains your brain and body for peak performance. Cold exposure isn't just trendy—it's neuroscience. A quick cold shower stimulates your vagus nerve, helping reset your nervous system from "fight or flight" into "rest and reset." This daily practice builds mental resilience, sharpens focus, and helps regulate emotional reactivity. Pro Tip: Start with just 30 seconds of cold at the end of your regular shower. Breathe deeply. It’s a micro-moment of controlled discomfort that builds discipline and strengthens your mental edge. Try it out this week. Post how it went in the comments. Who’s in? I took one yesterday after 4 hours at the beach! #MySteadyMind #MentalFitness #ColdShowerChallenge

I read Bill Romanowski's Book, Romo: My Life on the Edge: Living Dreams and Slaying Dragons. And he explained about the benefits of a cold shower, or at least ending a shower cold. So I've been finishing my showers cold for at least eight years. In the morning, it is awesome - you feel like you're ready to take on a freight train. In the evening it is hard, especially in the winter. But I love it! Thanks for sharing, Dani!
