My journey 😔
This is not my first journey; I am starting this for the second time. Back in 2015, I began my healthy lifestyle journey by joining a Facebook group where I used to post my meals and pictures of my daily activities. I continued this consistently, and as a result, I lost 13 kgs. That time was very memorable and full of achievements, and I truly enjoyed the entire experience. I successfully maintained that weight loss for almost six years. However, around 2020–2021, I gradually started letting go of that lifestyle. Although I had control over my diet, I allowed myself occasional cheat days once a week, especially indulging in sweet cravings. Slowly and unintentionally, I drifted away from my routine. Over time, my weight started increasing gradually. I tried to maintain it, but it would go up a little, then I would manage it again—this cycle continued for a while. By mid-2025, I had regained around 7 to 8 kgs. On top of that, the menopausal phase and hypothyroidism made things even more challenging. These conditions make weight loss extremely difficult; no matter how much control one tries to maintain, the body tends to get stuck and the weight keeps increasing instead of decreasing. Now my weight has increased quite a lot. InshaAllah, I truly hope that I will be able to start again. Hard workouts are not easy for me anymore, and intense exercise is quite challenging, but I am still trying. InshaAllah, if I remain consistent, I believe I will see results, even if they come slowly. This time, I will have to completely eliminate certain things such as sweets, bakery items, and other restricted foods. Flexible eating will not work for me anymore; I will need to eat in a proper calorie deficit in order to achieve my goals. According to this plan, I need to lose around 15 kgs. Please keep me in your prayers, and InshaAllah, I hope I will be able to do this and successfully achieve my goals. @Dn. Hamda Zain @Aneeqa Asif @Hadia Saif @Laraib Awais @Asma Shakoor @Irsa Saeed
