3 Types of Speaking Opportunities 🎤 After being blessed to speak on 30–40 stages in a year during my prime, I realized most speaking opportunities fall into three simple categories. 1️⃣ Pay to Play You pay for the opportunity to speak. Think of it like buying advertising or access to an audience. ✅ Pros: guaranteed stage, exposure, content ⚠️ Cons: upfront investment 2️⃣ Pitch to Play You apply, ask, or submit a proposal to speak. ✅ Pros: free opportunities, expands your network ⚠️ Cons: competitive and requires persistence 3️⃣ Picked to Play People discover you and invite you to speak. ✅ Pros: credibility and often paid ⚠️ Cons: takes time and visibility Smart speakers usually use a mix of all three while building their brand. ———- 🎤 Speaking Opportunity My friend Retired Army Brigadier General Tia Young is accepting speakers for the Dare 2 Lead Conference (virtual and onsite). Focus: Authority & Visibility ** TODAY WE GET TO SEE & HEAR YOU... Record and leave a video in the comments By Day 3, it’s time to let people see the value of what you know. Many business owners only promote their offer, but the fastest way to attract clients is to teach something helpful that solves a real problem. When you share insight, frameworks, or practical wisdom, people begin to see you as a guide and not just someone selling a service. Teaching builds trust, demonstrates your expertise, and helps your audience understand how you think and how you help people win. Today, create a short post, video, or message using the Max Potential P.I.E.C.E. of Passion Process. Choose one of the following ways to teach your audience. Start by identifying a Problem and solving a real pain your audience faces. Involve your audience by giving them a simple action step they can try. Educate them with a quick framework, strategy, or insight. Conversion example of how this idea has helped someone move forward. Erase their doubt by reminding them that change is possible and that they can implement this too. MAKE A PLAY: Action Steps Create a short teaching post or video that shares one helpful idea. Use the P.I.E.C.E. of Passion Process in your message: - P – Problem: Solve a real pain - I – Involve: Give your audience an action step - E – Educate: Teach a simple insight or framework - C – Conversion: Share a quick result or example - E – Erase Doubt: Remind them success is possible MAKE A PLAY: Record a short video teaching your idea and post it in Skool so the community can learn from you. Closing Thought When you teach with clarity, you build authority. When you build authority, clients begin to find you.

DAY 2 of 7: CLARIFY & MAKE THE OFFER
DAY 2: CLARIFY & MAKE THE OFFER Today we position AND we produce revenue. Day 2 is important because clarity without action doesn’t grow a business, offers do. It forces you to stop overthinking and start engaging the market. By identifying the urgent problem and immediately putting your offer in front of real people, you move from preparation to production. Revenue is generated when you clearly name the pain and boldly invite people to a solution. Day 2 builds confidence, creates momentum, and proves that business growth happens through conversations and COURAGEOUS offers, not just good ideas. 1️⃣ Identify the most urgent problem your audience is trying to solve. 2️⃣ Say it clearly: 👉 “If you’re struggling with ___, this is for you.” 3️⃣ Make the offer publicly and DM 5 people. Clarity attracts. Action converts. MAKE A PLAY: 1) comment below Your fill in the blank for … “If you are struggling with ________, this is for you.” 2) Screenshot at least one of your DMs or text to someone inviting them consider your offer. 👀 It’s gametime for real PLAYMAKERS!!! One thing I will accomplish this week: I will secure 2 booked opportunities — either: - 1 paid speaking engagement + 1 podcast appearance OR - 2 qualified coaching discovery calls scheduled from visibility outreach** The one step I will take today to move it forward: I will send 5 direct, personalized speaking/podcast pitches by end of business.
