I've been a lil' MIA
Hey, everyone! Just wanted to call myself out (hehe) and admit that I haven't been doing the 21-day challenge the last 4 days. Why? Because life got WILD! I went to a fancy wedding over the weekend and have been packing my house for a move this coming weekend. I've also been a bit overwhelmed with all the tasks on my to-do list and have been intentionally taking more breaks and spending more time outside to help myself regulate. Sometimes, being an entrepreneur is stressful. It's OK to not be perfect all the time. We all have those days and weeks. What matters is that you get up, dust yourself off, and keep going. You can't lose if you don't quit. Anyone else feel like they let some things slip lately?

getting ready to move here as well and it seems like there's not enough hours in the day any more.
Quick check-in before the day ends 👀
What’s one thing you did today that you’d normally forget to give yourself credit for? Doesn’t have to be big. Showing up counts. ⬇️ Drop it below.

The Power of SYSTEMS Thinking 💭
I was on a clarity call today with @Jesse Niall and he mentioned how one of the things he needs in his life right now is better systems. For us ADHD Skool owners, we deal with the constant bombardment of dopamine from dealing with Skool notifications all day long. It's really exciting!! ...and it's also a good way to burn out. Back in October of last year, I spent 12 hours a day, 7 days a week on Skool to help us get the ⭐ No, I'm not joking or exaggerating. It was NOT sustainable. And it was certainly not efficient or systematized. I was just constantly on my phone writing comments, joining communities, sending DMs... trying a little bit of everything. If you throw the pot at the wall, hopefully something sticks! Now, after a year growing this Skool community, I've learned the errors of my ways. Or rather, I've learned how to systematize my work here so I know exactly what to do, when to do it, and how long to spend on it. This has almost immediately resulted in: ✅ More sales ✅ Better conversations ✅ Better relationships ✅ More members ✅ And best of all - more peace of mind ...all while cutting my time spent on Skool by about 80%. The trick? Systems. I now follow a very specific checklist, understand which notifications to ignore and which are important, and have completely stopped letting myself runaway on Skool notification dopamine land. (Most of the time, anyway. I'm still an ADHD entrepreneur 😅😆) I find that often it's the things that we generally know are good to do (outreach, creating content, taking calls), but we don't have an exact process for how we go about doing them or how we track it. Systems and tracking change the game. And PHEW am I less stressed now! 😮‍💨 So now I'm curious... What do YOU spend way too much time on because there’s no system? 👀

Definitely notifications right now. I spend a ton of time checking them but I have a checklist that I've been tweaking this week and hopefully next week will be better. (and btw... trying throwing just the spaghetti at the wall next time. the whole pot is likely to damage the wall and might get a bit messy!) 🤣

@Bill Widmer I love clicking the checkbox and seeing the progress bar at the end go up when I do the thing on the list... gives me a boost of motivation

@Bill Widmer thank you! I keep seeing prompts similar to this on other groups I'm in and every time, I try to revise, tweak, and improve what I want to say.

@Yasi B thank you!
Know when to fold 'em?
Country song metaphor. (The gambler) Know when to hold them Know when to fold them Know when to walk away Know when to run. You never count your money When you're sitting at the table They'll be time enough for counting When the dealings done. Looping... in my head and I'm about ready to quit my job but have no back up employment built yet.

@Tori Cadry Standing where it's uncomfortable can be a powerful position. And I think it's amazing that you're refusing to let your body or fear make your decisions. Holding doesn’t mean stuck. Sometimes it’s just buying yourself enough space to choose the clear next step.

@Tori Cadry that's amazing! I'm cheering you on and holding you in my thoughts as that direction comes into focus for you. 💗
