𝗪𝗵𝗲𝘄. 𝗦𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱—𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆. Just yesterday I was worrying myself sick over something I didn’t know how to figure out. The numbers weren’t adding up, the pressure felt heavy, and I was at a loss. So I did the only thing that made sense—I went into the prayer room. In that stillness, I wrote down every single year I faced a similar challenge and how it worked out. Every year, God came through. I walked out with clarity and a strategy. Now my job is to implement and trust—because every time I’ve trusted, it’s worked out. Every time. Business isn’t all pretty pictures. It’s payroll, bills, pivots, long days, and sometimes doubt. Trust me when I say this...
The wave of the future is building a brand. Not a product. Not a hustle. A brand. There’s so much noise out here — strategies, hacks, content calendars, funnels, lead gen formulas. Everybody’s trying to figure out how to make money, how to get more customers, what to post next. And in all that chaos… most people are missing the point. You gotta go back to the roots. Back to the basics. What are you really offering people? Because whether you realize it or not — you’re uniquely built. You’ve got something in you that nobody else can duplicate. But you’re too busy trying to sell something that sounds good instead of delivering what’s actually in you. That’s the problem. Most folks are so focused on the sale, they’re watering down their own power. You’re thinking about how to sell it before you’ve even figured out how to serve it. The gems Ashley drops works because she's serving us! You want real growth? Real traction? Real transformation? That comes from providing real value. From the heart. From clarity. So today — I want you to tap in. Tap into what you love. Tap into how you move. How you communicate. How you naturally show up. Then think: how can I serve people from that place — but do it at the highest level? But don’t just throw it together and hope somebody bites. Take time. Think it through and write it out. Build it right and share it here in the community so that we can take part in helping you mold it. Not just for the transaction — but for the transformation it can create in somebody else’s life. If you do that consistently, the growth WILL follow. Your money, your mindset, your spirit, your confidence — all of it will rise. But this is not the sexy version of growth… no one wants to do leg day at the gym… but its the boring work that leads you to where you want to be ultimately! So no — this isn’t some “3 quick tips to hit 6-figures” kind of post. But if you really sit with this and apply it — You’ll start seeing results that last longer than a launch and you will ultimately Speak Your Way To Cash!

Hello SYWTC Community! I have a question & seeking feedback. Does the following statement give you a clear picture of what it is I do in my business? I am the CEO/Founder of EmpowerED LeadHER. EmpowerED LeadHER empowers women instructional leaders in underperforming K-8 schools serving Black and Brown communities to close the leadership gap by building the confidence, clarity, and capacity needed to transform learning and lead with equity-centered instructional leadership for sustainable change. I'm seeking feedback to ensure that I am clear & to also start pitching to organizations outside of school districts.

This is toughhhhhhh Wendy!!!! I think all of the suggestions thus far make sense but one element needs to be a filter: Who are you pitching to and in what format? Email hits one way, talking directly speaks another (virtual or in person) I believe the easiest way to lose someone face to face is to regurgitate a run-on pitch explaining your services rather than speaking from the heart and explaining what their payoff is within your pitch. "Hi, I'm Wendy, I help instructional leaders in underperforming schools transform learning for sustainable change." The rest of the rhetoric comes in the conversation that follows. If its written, I think its ok to be more formal, and have more length... but just keep in mind people are inundated with content and information, they need to know they should read the rest right at the top. Just like I opened this comment up :) Good luck with it all!

This week has been a week of mental recovery... Im currently plotting and planning, cleared my calendar to reshape my offer... and im combing through that as we speak.

@Carolyn Griffin thats a good word.. well im a full-time entrepreneur, so most of my days are filled with serving clients and looking for new ones. Im going to prioritize refocusing on this piece so that I can extend my reach.

However, I instantly thought about brand presence and how it’s a piece of the puzzle. Corporations not only want to see you visible online, but they are going to want to see if your branding and visuals are put-together. Is Your Brand Ready for Corporate Opportunities?

@Thomasina Oliver Jackson this is mandatory for growth.. I literally did just that last year.. and its time to re-up... bought some new suits, rebranded myself, built a new website.. but MOST importantly.. I renewed my mindset... that mindset shift was the thing that propelled all the other stuff...
