Genuine question for ADHD entrepreneurs
Do you ever get a random wave of “I’m gonna fix my entire life TODAY” and then 40 minutes later you’re lying on the floor because you printed out an ebook about a new hobby and forgot where you left your shoelaces and wondering why you even took them out in the first place? I swear ADHD business life is just a hyperfocus, burnout, panic loop. I’m tryna fix my systems but my brain is like “nah, let’s impulsively launch a new project instead.” How are y’all staying sane today??

yeah man story of my life right here. Literally super focused for 2-3 hours getting work done and then I just hop off into some random slide project. My guilty pleasure now has been using Claude AI. I've been using Claude a lot for just ideas with content, YouTube ideas, or different ideas for my business. Sometimes I literally get more confused after I use it than before so it's like that definitely freaks me out and I panic lol. But one thing helps me out a lot though. It's just keeping it simple. just going off your gut impulse saying "ok, I'm just going to do one thing, I'm going to stick with it until it`s finished no matter what For me biggest thing is posting content so my main goal is to get a piece of content out on Instagram or YouTube every single day, no matter how good or bad I think it is. Just getting it out helps me out a lot. So yeah just completing what you started is simple enough. it's hard at first but once you find your flow you'll be good to go
New here!
Hey, I’m Claire 👋 I seem to collect offers and ideas for businesses for a living. Most of the people I hang around with are in that mid-build stage where: - The business works “enough” - There are 3–7 things they could sell - And every week it’s a new internal debate about what to actually put in front of people. My brain naturally goes to: - “What’s the real main character offer here?” - “What can we quietly retire or park for later?” - “How do all these pieces fit together so you’re not reinventing yourself every month?” So I’ve ended up doing a lot of mapping work – helping people untangle their offer buffet and see the underlying structure that was already there. I’m here mostly to: - Learn how other people are building and tweaking their ecosystems - Swap brains on offers / positioning / “I built all this… now what?” questions - Be a useful nerd in any threads where things feel muddled or overcomplicated If you ever post something and think, “This makes sense in my head but I know it’s a mess on paper,”feel free to tag me – my brain weirdly enjoys that part. Looking forward to getting to know people here 🗺️ — Claire

New to the community
Hey, how's it going, everyone? My name is Randy Smith and I'm an online fitness coach so I help men get in the best shape of their life. I seen this group on the skool explore page and was like, "Wow that's cool! A group for entrepreneurs who have ADHD." So I was like, "Yeah that fits me" so I decided to join. My biggest challenge is definitely focus. I have so many ideas going in my head every single day and sometimes I just get into a deep wormhole of just information and new offers and content ideas that I just have trouble fixing myself onto one thing and doing it long enough to where I can hit my major goal. Looking foward to connecting with you all!

@Asha Hope Pleasure to meet you Asha! That's definitely a great point. Less is more. Sometimes I forget that.I definitely self-sabotage myself a lot with just trying to do too much or overstimulate myself. So that's pretty good man. Keeping those three things top of mind would definitely be a game changer for sure! but yeah man you'd be suprised lol
A moment of accountability
Today I did not want to wake up. My 8 am alarm came....then the 9am....then 920...then it was 10 am and I was still in bed. By 1054 I knew I havd to do something and get moving or I woukd get nothing done today Forced myself out if bed, put on fresh clothes, and opened up the "eat the frog" meeting just in time for midway check in. I vowed to step out of my comfort zone and make some short form videos. I have 21 planned out so far.... In that remaining hour and the half hour ater I successfully: Recorded the first video, then reformatted twice for an A-B-C test. I then uploaded all three of those to instagram. Then I recorded my 4th full legnth lesson for my community classroom and also uploaded that. The other 18 short form videos are already scripted out, so I will make the second and third set of three hopefully tomorrow. Now I am mentally preparing for my doctors appointment in two hours, and later today I will respond to all notifications and DMs, as well as make a few posts in my community.

I understand that happens to me a lot of times. Normally I like wake up at 6 but sometimes I find myself in bed at like 8. I'm like freak! I've overslept the day is over lol. the fact that you still got out of bed and locked got your work done is pretty dope. You didn't let that stop you so it's pretty awesome you did that

@Thoren Lucien for sure! so for me when I wake up I'll do push-ups, drink water. cold shower, then journal then I'll generally get right into work as far as my tasks for the day. Ideally that's a perfect start of the day for me. If I can do that every single day that's a perfect start of the day. But yeah sometimes I'll be tired or my body will be cooked from the gym so sometimes I gotta talk myself out of laying bed for extra 15 minutes that turn into 2 hours lol
