Does anyone have a faster strategy to getting quality leads for speaking engagements? if so, DO TELL... I feel like my process could be more simple. Here's what I've been doing, I go to the speaker's bureaus, find similar speakers with similar speaking fee, spy on where they have spoken before by looking at the reviews/ testimonials from decision makers that have vouched for them. Sometimes, I stalk their instagram/ Linkedin to see where they spoke in the past. Sometimes I might do a google search for events that provide my target audience for my course and programs I sell. I have other strategies as well of finding leads online....But, I personally like calling and getting the decision makers on the phone or have the gatekeeper give me their email... and sometimes I can find the decision maker's email from their website/ Linkedin using Apollo.io or RocketReach . I'm trying to train my VA to do what I've done, but just in case, ya'll have a faster strategy... PLEASE SHARE... because these manual searches & outreaches are time consuming. I heard of people using LinkedIn Sales Navigator to pull a bunch of leads with a strategic filtering process... so I tried that... and maybe my filtering wasn't done properly... because my leads weren't the right fit for me so I canceled the subscription... If you know how to filter using the LinkedIn Sales Navigator (or any ACCURATE MASS LEAD GENERATING PROCESS/ SOFTWARE)... please DM me, let's set up a zoom because I need a tutorial... LOL THANK YOU!!!!

๐Ÿ‘‹Hi, I'm Rachel - Money & Mindset Expert | Speaker| Digital Marketing Strategist
Hey everyone, my name is Rachel Ligon and I help two powerful audiences create radical transformation: I train corporate teams and organizations using my G.O. L.I.V.E. Framework to boost performance, build resilient leadership, and help professionals thrive under pressure. And I empower aspiring entrepreneursโ€”especially faith-driven womenโ€”through my A.D.O.R.N. Method to launch profitable online businesses with clarity, confidence, and digital strategy. Iโ€™m currently based in Atlanta, GA, and my main business goal is to book high-paying speaking opportunities ($10Kโ€“$25K+) that allow me to scale to $500K+ this year through keynotes, corporate trainings, and licensing partnerships. I joined this community to collaborate with powerhouse leaders, connect with potential joint venture partners, and learn from those who are making waves through speaking. Iโ€™m excited to build aligned relationships and expand my impact. A fun fact about me is I used to be a live news producer for networks like NBC and ABC, and I also worked in production for major Hollywood studios like Disney, Amazon, and Tyler Perry Studiosโ€”now I help others take the spotlight in their own lives and businesses while living a freedom-based lifestyle.

@Andrea Mancuso I love that you also speak on leadership. I was looking for more female speakers to connect with who share a similar audience. I would love to connect with you. maybe brain storm and share resources if you're open to it. You can always move further faster when you're in a community with a common goal. let me know if you're interested. ๐Ÿ™‚

Need Help with Finding Leads
Hello all, I'm having trouble finding the right contacts to decision makers for certain events i'm finding. I'm curious what's your strategy to getting quality leads and knowing who are the right people to reach out to that hires speaker. I have 2 speaking topics for different audience members. (FIRST AUDIENCE) I want to speak at events that have an audience of small business owners to speak to them on marketing, business growth, entrepreneurship. (2ND AUDIENCE) And I'm also looking for other events where I can speak to teams and corporations on leadership, productivity and mindset. getting their correct emails and phone numbers has not been straight forward and i want to save time. i have Apollo.io and I have Rocket Reach to find non-public emails...but it's a slow process and takes too long to find one contact. I'm trying to reach out to more in short amount of time. PLEASE DM ME if you want to be each other's accountability partners because i'm serious about filling up my calendar this and next month. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

@Natasha Green i never thought about sponsoring a meetup. But i have gone to meetups. And started my own.. but to attract my clients... not for the session makers. I can host an event for decision makers to attend, but thinking of what to stay. Is the idea to educate them on the issues their audience have and then point out my speaking topic is the solution to the problem? I can do that. Maybe a virtual event for the decision makers

โ€ผ๏ธREAD FOR OUR SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY DETAILEDโ€ผ๏ธ That one sentence from my husband shifted everything for me. I used to post randomlyโ€”one post here, maybe a live or two each week. But when he said that, something clicked. I realized that visibility was the missing piece. I needed to put out way more content. As my team and capacity grew, I finally understood: volume moves the needle. Right now, weโ€™re doing: โœ… 4โ€“5 posts a day on Instagram โœ… 10 short-form videos a day on YouTube โœ… 2 long-form YouTube videos per week โœ… $30Kโ€“$60K/month in paid ads We now have an organic and paid media strategy, and we are all in. But hereโ€™s the truth: even before all this, I had a daily plan to get my name out there. I wasnโ€™t just postingโ€”I was pitching myself weekly: ๐ŸŽค Pitching to the media ๐ŸŽง Pitching to podcasts ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Pitching to speak in front of other peopleโ€™s groups People always ask me for my content calendar or what app I use. But yโ€™all, a calendar wonโ€™t save you. A planner wonโ€™t post for you. You donโ€™t need another toolโ€”you need to do the work. Every single one of yโ€™all could go live every day for a year if you really wanted to. The question is: how badly do you want to help the world with the knowledge you have? Because if you really want it, your consistency will show it. Hereโ€™s how we create our content at scale: 1. Content Day Workflow ๐ŸŽฌ Record 60 Reels in one day ๐Ÿค– Use this ChatGPT prompt: โ€œI have a lot of content coming up in the areas of [insert your 4โ€“5 content pillars]. Please give me 60 questions phrased like: โ€˜Tell me a story about howโ€ฆโ€™ followed by something my ideal client would want to know. My ideal client is [insert description]. Format them as questions that a videographer could ask me on camera.โ€ ๐Ÿ“„ I feed ChatGPT my 30+ page market research PDF to make the prompts even sharper ๐ŸŽค I record the content unscripted, just answering the questions naturally 2. Editing & Distribution ๐Ÿ“ Raw footage goes into Google Drive โœ‚๏ธ My full-time videographer sends it to a contractor who edits all 60 videos within a week

@La Brown yes i'm training mines now... it is a lot of work and it also helps me to refine a better SOP. I'm also learning how to communicate better. I'm recording all my lessons so when I bring on the next person I can refer them to the training videos so that may help you in the future when you hire your VA. ๐Ÿ™‚

Cold Email Outreach
Anyone doing cold email outreach? We've been dabbling in it, but looking to make it a bigger part of our outreach for the rest of Q2 to test it out. Here are my questions for the folks who've been doing it a while: 1. What subject lines have you tried that worked the best? 2. What tools do you use to warm up your email addresses / send the emails? 3. Comparatively, how effective has your cold email outreach been compared to say your social media outreach? I am currently on step three of Ashley's million dollar year plan, and instead of focusing solely on LinkedIn like I have been, I'm going to expand a bit to find leads. Looking forward to hearing from the group. Thanks in advance for your two cents!

Hey @Carrolee Moore I recently hired a VA to do cold outreach more consistently as part of my strategy to book paid speaking gigs and JV partnerships, and Iโ€™ve learned a few things that might be helpful even if your niche is different: Subject Lines That Work Best (Based on What I Do + Ashleyโ€™s Framework): I always try to lead with value or curiosity and keep it short... and I like adding emojis because I think it stands out and captures the eye's attention in a sea full of bland emails. These have worked well for me: - โ€œ๐Ÿ‘‹Quick Question โ€“ [Event/Org Name]โ€ - โ€œโ‰๏ธ[Their Audience] struggling with [Pain Point]?โ€ - โ€œ๐Ÿ’กTraining idea for your next [event/team/workshop]โ€ Ashley always reminds us that the goal is to position yourself as the solution to a real problem they already have โ€” not just a speaker looking for a stage. So when I reach out, I speak directly to their audience's pain points and explain how my talk delivers transformation, not just inspiration. Tools I Use: I keep it simple โ€” I send personal emails from my business Gmail and use a tracking extension like "Mailtrack" to see who opened it. Bonus Tip: Personalize the first line. @Ashley Kirkwood always says: โ€œDonโ€™t just pitchโ€”connect.โ€ Acknowledge something specific about them, their mission, or their recent event. It increases response rate so much.

@Carrolee Moore I have not noticed. I think DM has worked better for me. but I still do both. I track my emails to see who opened them... and I see they open them...but most don't reply back. It's weird to me... I'm like at least say something LOL. I am looking for a faster strategy to finding quality leads though. I feel like my process could be faster. If you have any advice please share them with me. I am trying to focus on speed but also with accuracy. Getting the right emails has been a chore. ๐Ÿซ
