ADHD Entrepreneurs: What Helps Your Brain Stay Clear?
Being an ADHD entrepreneur can feel like living in two worlds at the same time — the world of big ideas, creativity, and passion… and the world of overwhelm, physical tension, and trying to keep the wheels from flying off the wagon. 😅 One thing I don’t hear talked about enough is how much our bodies affect our focus and follow-through.When my neck or shoulders are flaring, my brain feels 10x more scattered. Pain = distraction. Over the past few months, I’ve been working on a simple goal:🌿 reduce physical discomfort🌿 simplify my systems🌿 and support my brain so it can actually focus on the things that matter. And honestly? The difference in my clarity has been huge. Curious — for those of you with ADHD:What physical habits or wellness tools make the biggest difference in your ability to focus, get things done, or stay calm? I’d love to swap insights. 💚🧠✨
Self-Care 🤌
Tonight on our weekly Focus Founder Accelerator call, we discussed an important topic: Self-care. As ADHD entrepreneurs, it's all too common that we hustle and grind our way into burnout. We think it's more important to spend every possible moment working. And worse still, we regret or feel guilty about taking time off when we finally do get a break. So tonight, we asked everyone what their favorite self-care routine is, and why. Because self-care is a secret to being a more productive and happier entrepreneur. Here are some of the answers we got: @Reema Rana cooks herself a meal to show herself some love. She really enjoys cooking for others, and cooking for herself is a way to show herself that same graciousness. @Sebastian Schroeder loves to take time for unstructured meditation. Time to let his mind wander and the answers he seeks to find him. @Rainbow Bird de Soliris takes time to stretch every morning, and especially enjoys xis muscle hook. @Matthew O'Brien neglected self-care for 10 years, and recently found that taking care of himself by grayscaling his phone, turning on night-time mode on his computer at night, and taking creatine have all helped him to have more in reserves at the end of the day - and make him a more pleasant person to be around (his words hehe). @Brian Diep enjoys exercise in the first hour of his day, and finds that when he sticks to this routine it sets the rest of his day up for success. @Mahedi Kaiser loves lifting weights and using his muscles to get in his body. And my personal favorite? @Nancy Burditt loves saying "NO!" to things that don't serve her. Saying no to more things allows her free time to spend with herself, reading books or doing whatever she wants to do.

One thing I love is walking in a creative village. I just got back from Tokyo and loved walking around town.

@Jana Bergant Yes me too. That is my ultimate way to relax. I grew up on the ocean in LA and now am in Maine. The cold is a challenge.
Hey everyone! 👋
I’m Jessica — probably undiagnosed ADHD, but my son was diagnosed, and honestly… the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. 😅 I stumbled upon this group and thought hey, actually this is probably where I belong and it’d be amazing to build alongside people who are wired like me — deeply creative, intuitive, multidimensional thinkers who thrive on bringing big visions to life in their own unique ways. I’m a graphic designer, web designer, life coach, and therapeutic art life coach. I run Deaken Design Studio, where I help soul-led entrepreneurs bring their visions to life through branding, design, and digital strategy. I also started my own Skool community called Glow-Up Lab, which merges art, mindset, and nervous system regulation for creators and coaches. It’s all about healing through creativity — regulating your nervous system, reconnecting with your vision, and manifesting from that calm, grounded space. The course path starts with Regulate to Receive, moves into Vision to Manifestation, and later will be exploring Branding, Energy & Alignment for creative entrepreneurs. Sometimes I wonder if it’s ADHD, Aquarius energy, or being a Manifesting Generator — but whichever way, I’m excited to learn, focus, and grow with you all here. 💫 Can’t wait to co-work and connect with other creative brains doing big things.

Hi Jessica, I was just diagnosed with ADHD but I am not using the label because I find labels not healthy for me. Super power is better. I am a scanner ( multi talented type as defined by Barbara Sher. I found great supplement for focus. Wow. Be well. Glad you are here.
