How did I do it so fast? Research. ➕I'd already advertised in the newsletter and did well. 7800 Subscribers on Substack. 7700 on Medium. (Likely a lot of the same.) The asking price was $4500 I spent about 5 minutes breaking the ice.😰 Then... I negotiated him to $5,000 🙃 Am I the World's Worst Negotiator? Maybe? Or did I want something else? Plus, I can't go wrong with what I know about monetizing email newsletters. A friend of mine has an automated newsletter that sends a daily workout. The list is coming up to 7000 subscribers. Demographic is mainly 50+ female.
