Before streetlights, they didn't light up whole roads. Instead, each person carried a lantern. You can imagine what that was like. Just enough light to see a few steps in front of you. That idea stuck with me, because that's where I see many people getting stuck in business. They want to see the WHOLE path before they start walking. We want to know: ✔️ The perfect niche. ✔️ What we will be known for. ✔️ The "just right" offer with the perfect price. ✔️ Whether we are doing it "right." ✔️ The next 45 steps before we feel safe enough to move. ✔️ And is this really going to work long-term? So instead of posting, or taking the next step, we overthink, edit our offer again, update our instagram bio, change our price, tinker with our website some more. (All of this is resistance driven by underlying stories!) We hesitate, and we decide we need a better plan or a new strategy. Please stop that madness! Clarity doesn’t come from standing still and thinking harder. It comes from movement. I like to remember ABC = Action brings clarity! 🔥 Posting once is holding up your lantern. 🔥🔥 Sharing a thought in a different way is turning up your light. 🔥🔥🔥 Inviting people in and showing them you have the answer is inviting the to share your lantern. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 The closer they come into your circle of light, the more they can hear your message. You don’t post because you’re clear and perfect at already. You post so you can get clear. Each step shows you the next one. You speak so you can FEEL your own message. That helps your lantern burn brighter! You were never meant to see the whole path. You were meant to walk it. One small, lit step at a time. Sometimes we feel totally frozen, like our light has gone out.
