I'm looking to start making macrons! I'm interested in trying an almond flavor or salted caramel. Any ideas on where to begin?

Hey guys! Im new to the group and I started my macaron journey a couple weeks ago! Im having a lot of fun learning the process and new things along the way! I was wondering if anybody had tips on how to keep them from cracking on top and/or being hollow because no matter what i do differently they continue to end up this way :(

Anyone have any macaron filling ideas? Ive made strawberry cheesecake and peach buttercream so far!!
