First Live Session — Recording Available in Classroom
We had our first live today — small group, but a very meaningful discussion. We spoke about how many people end up using Reddit or Google because doctor time is limited and questions remain after appointments. What was encouraging is that people also shared their wins, what’s working for them, and what to do next — this is exactly the kind of support that’s missing online. If you missed it, please watch the recording. This is a global community where you’ll get: - Guidance from me - Support from others on the same journey A safe, moderated space — without random or unsafe advice. If you’re here, don’t stay silent —share your concerns and be part of it. THANK YOU FOR JOINING!!

Introduction
Hi I am Ashima currently living in Germany. Worried for someone close as his gfr dropped down a bit since 2022 and now is further reduced as he started dapagliflozin. He is having CKD stage 2. Lets see how much time it will take to get the gfr stabilised.

@Anisha Marwha I was born with one kidney and I never knew about it until 40 years (now 44). My egfr has been in 60 to 65 and I am healthy , fit and I eat as usual but very strict diet and of course I run and lift weights.

@Anisha Marwha what we can do is just to follow what doctor says. Rest is not in our control. With re to diet, I just restrict salt (less than a gram/day, never ever touch packaged foods, I don’t know when was the last time I tasted sugar or sugar drinks or sweets etc, limited outside food - once a month or so. Whey protine after Gym for breakfast, Lunch: always make sure to eat a big bowl of green vegetables in lunch - often called salad, 150 grams of rice in lunch, 100 grams of chicken, Dinner: I eat fish in 100 grams daily and I try to finish my dinner before 7. I skip my dinner every Sunday 😐. I track my health numbers daily - I use whoop band. I go to the gym 5 days a week and lift weights and run 3 KM. I run 15 KM every Saturday 😀. Not to mention but I love coffee. I drink 2 to 3 cups of coffee just black ah.
We are going LIVE in 14 hours!
Make sure to log in tomorrow for the LIVE SESSION tomorrow at 11:30 AM IST - Lets get to know each other and make this community STRONGER and HEALTHIER! Check the calendar page to add the event to your personal calendar. See you tomorrow
