Update on disastrous ChatGPT business work migration. Cautionary tale for ChatGPT users
It’s been a while since I’ve posted here. Aside from the holidays, I have spent the last 30 days in full business recovery mode following a disastrous workspace migration in ChatGPT on November 30th. I didn’t want to come back until I had something positive to report. Over the summer, before joining the AI Advantage I launched my startup using a ChatGPT Plus account tied to my personal email. As a (now) professional founder, I eventually realized it was necessary to separate my personal data from my business for IP protection, liability, and future HIPAA compliance with the app I’m building. When I started my ChatGPT account I hadn’t even thought about starting a company yet. Everything was mixed up. All my personal topics and my business building topics were in one account. Which is not a good thing. I knew enough to upgrade to a ChatGPT plus account when I started iterating business ideas, because I did not want them being trained on any of open AI models. I did everything by the book. I followed the documentation and even used ChatGPT to build a migration checklist. What happened next took my business out at the knees. ChatGPT wiped out every last bit of my data. Their support was nonexistent—no apology, no refund, and no path to recovery. $632.00 spent for a two year Business Workspace and nothing to show for it, everything gone. While my "founder discipline" meant I had backed up my core IP and design docs locally, I lost months of context and chat logs that served as the backbone of my cognitive scaffolding system. It was a disaster of epic proportions. I’ll admit it: I cried. Sobbed actually. I’m normally not a crier, but I had worked so damn hard for several months building something that I know is going to help people. I refused to let it be the end. I have spent December reconstituting my operations from the ground up, but I didn't go back to what broke. After learning that this has happened to dozens, if not hundreds of other founders and businesses, I migrated my entire company to Google Business Workspace (Enterprise Standard) and Gemini. The difference in professional stability and support has been night and day. Because of this move, I’ve recovered enough momentum to stay on track for our first product launch this January.

@Theresa Elliott now I'm wondering if I should export all my chats just to be safe. ❤️
The Problem With Running Ads Without Clear Math
Most ad accounts don’t fail because of bad ads. They fail because nobody did the math first. Here’s the uncomfortable truth… Running ads without clear math is just gambling with a dashboard. People launch campaigns asking: “How much should I spend?” Instead of: “How does this make money?” If you don’t know: • Your cost to acquire a customer • Your close rate • Your average order value • Your lifetime value Then ROAS is just a vanity number. What usually happens: Ads bring traffic ✔️ Leads come in ✔️ Sales feel inconsistent ❌ So people blame: The platform The algorithm The creative When the real issue is this: There was no model behind the spend. Example: Business A knows: $50 per lead 20% close rate $500 sale Clear profit window Business B just “tests ads” and hopes. Same platform. Same tools. Different outcomes. Simple takeaway: Ads don’t create profit. Math does. If the numbers don’t work on paper, they won’t magically work in Meta Ads Manager. Question for you — do you know your break-even numbers… or are you hoping the ads figure it out for you?

💡 Human Performance and Wellbeing with AI: Working at a Sustainable Pace
In the rush to integrate AI into work, we often frame it as a tool for acceleration. Faster research. Faster writing. Faster decisions. But rarely do we ask whether the pace we are chasing is one we actually want to sustain. The deeper potential of AI is not speed. It is space. The space to think clearly, to focus fully, and to create without exhaustion. As AI takes on more cognitive load, we have a chance to redesign not just how we work, but how we feel while working. Human performance in the AI era will not be defined by how much we can do, but by how intentionally we can use our attention and energy. ---- The Hidden Cost of Cognitive Overload ---- Many professionals today feel constantly on. Notifications, data streams, and shifting priorities keep the brain in a state of low-grade vigilance. The modern knowledge worker spends more time switching contexts than completing thoughts. AI has the potential to either magnify that overload or relieve it. The difference lies in how we design our workflows. When AI is used reactively, as a tool we open only when we feel behind, it increases pressure. When it is used proactively, as an embedded part of how we think, it creates calm. Consider a manager who starts using AI to draft updates and summarize meetings. The first benefit is time saved, but the deeper value is mental clarity. They no longer carry half-finished summaries in their head. The brain can release what the system can hold. Reducing cognitive load is not just a productivity goal. It is an act of wellbeing. The human brain performs best when it alternates between focused engagement and recovery. AI can become the partner that protects those boundaries. ---- Redefining Productivity ---- Traditional definitions of productivity were built around visible activity. The more tasks completed, the more valuable the contribution. But in the knowledge economy, output does not always equal progress. The true measure is the quality of attention behind the work.

This is exactly the reason I'm building an AI Productivity app. Not to help people work faster. Not to squeeze more output out of already exhausted brains and schedules. But to teach business owners how to apply lean productivity principles to get their mental space back. Most of the entrepreneurs I work with aren’t struggling because they lack discipline or drive. They’re struggling because their business lives inside their head. Every follow-up, every decision, every “don’t forget” loop is running in the background all day long. We are not going into 2026 with cognitive overload!
My first client as an A.I Consultant & Integration!!!!
Signed my first client, a manager at a international travel facility needs to save time. And I can help him with that. Learning that a lot of executives would rather pay someone then learn how to prompt, vibe code, or automate. Being an A.I consultant is not the end goal but I couldn't let this train go by. I believe I am entering level 5-6 with A.I. But eyes and ears on Level 10+. I thin A.I helps you with with what you're already good at. #Annies
