Skool group created
Adam, I just started my skool group using your invite link. I tried monetising social media once many years ago with a topic that my heart focuses on deeply and failed miserably. Who knows, maybe I can learn something about it and also support myself a little through this community. Here is the link to the new club . . . https://www.skool.com/know-thyself-club-2937/about?ref=777af10b348f41e986b44bbad3ceaeed

Well done Christie! Get those blocks dark green... 30 days straight of contributing and participating in Skool activities. 10 a day is not too hard, and will allow for more learnings than you may think of now. Best wishes!
AMRAP Monday
Instead of just dong EMOMs everyday, I was thinking about doing some AMRAPs (As Many Reps As Possible) as well. This type of format will teach you how to pace yourself for different durations of intensity. Thoughts?

I like the switch up concept of AMRAP mixed in with what you already practice doing EMOM's. I'd be adding 'The Power Of One More' principles... taught by one of my favorite mentors, Ed Mylett. With the AMRAP philosophy, I'd be able to morph it to AMRAP+1...

@Adam Phomin ... I like the concepts of pressing 'length of time muscles are under tension' as a switch up as well. Prison yard push-ups and similar exercises are how I approach that. Those short squat push-ups that don't extend fully and give the muscles a second of rest. I like to feel the burn consistently sometimes.
Today's discussion
Did any of you have any thoughts on today's Sandbag Saturday talk about Regenerative agriculture and regenerative health and both sides of the same coin, and are necessary for our species? If you haven't watched, the link is in the classroom..... and here: https://youtube.com/live/fKMFqS3Q0Hc

We humans tend to analyze these topics from what the eyes see, but the real works are happening on the micro and nano scales. For health the magic happens on the cellular levels. 70% of our health is determined by what is going in our digestive system. Gut microbiome identities treated well often equates to feeling well. Garbage in = Garbage out as is said. Agricultural standards parallel the same concepts as health. It's the microbial life that lives in the soil that is serving as the digestive system of the plant body's that grow from it. Industrialized farming is the equivalent of eating processed foods. Sure, the fruits look bigger and better to the eye, but all trace minerals and nutrients have been stripped from foods to make it look better. Regenerative agriculture however honors the microbial and mycelium universes we can't see... leading to nothing but benefits if honored and kept intact. Mycelium webs look the same exact way our neural networks operate. I find it to be no coincidence that once Miracle Grow foods enter into our gut brain barriers, that neural networks deteriorate... no different than spraying crop fields with synthetic fertilizers wipe out mycelium networks in soils.

@Adam Phomin ... there's no such thing as coasting through this life. We're either living and trying our best to improve, or we are working towards our demise in the decisions we know deep down are not serving us well.
Fitness Goals
I'm currently 46 years old. I've always been agile and athletic, but didn't learn the importance of strength training until as of recent. I've become fascinated with Blue Zone cities, and desire to be a centurion, living to 100 years or more. I've also noticed people in their elder years... that when they lose their muscle mass, life becomes a struggle and harder to cope with the physicality aspects of life. I'm aware of the aspects of sustainability that involve staying active, stretching, and even the need to feed my body extra protein as I age. What I am curious about most though, is how I can increase muscle mass now that I am at an age that requires extra reps and time in the gym... especially when time becomes more and more limited as I work over 12 hours, 7 days a week??? Anyone else in the same skinny boat?

@Adam Phomin ... thanks for the feedback @Adam Phomin ! I'm glad to hear that I may agree with you! Overall dexterity, flexibility, and agility is where I tend to feel fits me. Tai Chi, kettlebell, and mace swinging as I mentioned in another of your posts is where I feel I may find my favorite joys in fitness goals... I've enjoyed martial arts as a child. I do have interest in what you mentioned about rope flows as well... I've never heard of it prior to you mentioning it.

I'm already joining your missions and will continue to do so. You're on a mission and purpose that stands the tests of time, and you're leading the way fantastically... keep up the inspirations you offer! Currently, time is running me as opposed to me managing my time. I work a full time job of which I travel and live out of hotels... with hours that vary greatly. Last week I worked normal day hours, and about to travel out for a week of night work. Then I work another shift working on my Skool community and AI learnings & build-outs. My wife and Son are living in Philippines, which adds an interesting twist to time management. As it stands now, I fit my personal care and wellness in between work breaks. I'm quick to use chairs for dips while conversing... or drop down in an airport and do push ups to stay the course. When my wife is by my side and we get through the visa process, I'll be going full on Jocko mode and up and working out at 4:30, just like you preach. I will go to Philippines in December to share holidays with family. It's a 11 hour split between you and there at that time of year. I would be glad to give a solid week, 2, or even 3 if my wife approves. I'd really like to get my 7 year old Son onboard with strength training, as we will be going through 'The Way Of The Warrior Kid' Training Manual as a shared learning experience.
