Weekend Foundation
🔥 Our foundation is what keeps us grounded when life gets loud. A full foundation (60 min) sets the tone. A mini-foundation (10–20 min) keeps the flame alive even on the weekend. Both matter. Both count. Both are key to consistency. ✨ The pillars of the foundation: - Curfew / Kick-Out Time - Digital Sunset - Read in bedtime - Wake-Up Time - Morning Routine - First Commitment / Digital Sunrise 💡 Then there are the 3 non-negotiables .. the daily reps that can’t be skipped. You get to choose yours, but they must be locked in even on rest days. Options include: 🏋🏽 Exercise / stretch 🧘🏽 Meditation / Prayer / Spiritual practice 🧊 Cold shower / breathwork 📖 Reading / journaling 🌱 Clean meal prep 🙏 Gratitude reflection / Volunteer Even if it’s a rest day, we still protect the mini-foundation and our 3 non-negotiables. Because rest without structure isn’t rest, it’s just regression. 🐬 Consistency is the flex. For 30 days we cut out: 🚫 Sugar 🚫 Liquor 🚫 Weed 🚫 Nicotine 🚫 Porn 🚫caffeine 🚫video games 🚫gambling 🚫gluten 🚫 Instant dopamine (mindless scrolling, junk food, cheap escapes) And for 30 days we lock in: 💧 Hydration 🏋🏽 Movement 🌱 Clean eating 😴 Solid sleep 📖 Reflection & journaling 🐬 Foundations that keep us consistent 🧠 Science says dopamine pathways for sugar, nicotine, alcohol, and screens light up just like hard drugs. That means most of us have already been disciplined… just in the wrong direction. The Challenge is about flipping that same loyalty toward our growth. ⚡ This is where confidence is built. This is where clarity comes back. CYC philosophy really is powerful! The financial habit tweaks for August is #1 no amazon purchases #2 and no eating out . Started off strong with both- tomorrow is the 28th and have not purchased anything off Amazon. Now #2 😬 total of 6times this month; however woulda been much worst if the intention was not set.

@Sarina Pepper oooh gurrrl you got the ideas flowing for all the yummy promoting fresh meals. During the dopamine detox I’m definitely going to be looking to you for inspiration . I already typically eat very clean and super skimp on preservative filled things but I must be honest- it’s definitely not exciting nor varied. I have that mindset I’m eating for fuel and it’s just easier to eat things in it’s rawest form
